Key Responsibilities:
Forecasting & Budgeting Financial Reporting

ERP implementation Assisting Trade Finance (Invoice Discounting, LCs)
UAE VAT & Excise Implementation (Including Registrations, Monthly/Quarterly Filings, Refund Claims)
Preparation and finalize the Sale, Capex, Opex Budgets in detail and submit to the Group CFO.
Ensuring timely closing of books of accounts on monthly basis & reporting the MIS by 5th of following month.
Preparing of cash flows, and review of day to day fund holding position and timely transfer of funds to corporate. Ensuring Zero Cheque bounce cases.
Ensuring all stock provisions (Aging, retail less than cost and Shrinkage), and expenses provisions are made and accounted correctly as per SOP.
Monitoring and compression of employee cost, admin and other cost with approved budget and providing reason analysis to business heads to drew up necessary action plan to keep actual within the budgeted levels.
Visiting the group companies to evaluate the system of internal controls, designing and effectiveness of its implementation of controls.
Verifying the compliance with the IFRS by all the entities at group level.
Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making
Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports
Liaise with bank on invoice discounting (Factoring), LCs, general management of the facilities (CC, OD) and preparation of forecasts as required.
Performing the operational GAP analysis and preparing the report.
Perform Financial Audits, Operational Audits, Gap Analysis, Compliance Audits, Fraud Investigations, Stock Audits and other Special Audits as per the requirement of higher management.
Performing monthly audits & reviews on HR dept for assisting & recommending about Payroll preparation, Monthly Deductions, Changes in Handbook as per law changes, Implementing the KPIs, Job descriptions maintenance.
Drafting the audit findings and recommendations and discuss findings with auditees to achieve agreement.
Analysing & Acting on deemed supplies or items classified as blocked for VAT Input Tax recovery purposes arising from any arrangements and their potential VAT impact.
Involving in the development of the Annual Audit Plan based on the reassessment performed at group level.
Delivering VAT reporting, ensuring VAT compliance and identifying risk.
Preparing, validating and submitting all required VAT returns, supporting schedules and any documentation/responses as may be required by the Federal Tax Authority.
Ensuring compliance of VAT & Excise data collection, review, consolidation, preparation payment of VAT/Excise liability for all the companies under group.
Minimizing VAT liabilities and compliance issues.
Preparing budgets and rolling forecasts for VAT implementations and other projects.
Preparing and submitting to the management monthly reports on the VAT activities of the Group

Revenue Assurance Cash to Credit
Preparation and finalize the Sale budgets in detail (Event wise / Monthly / Store wise) and submit to the Concept business heads.
Monitoring and compression of employee cost, admin and other cost with approved budget and providing reason analysis to business heads to drew up necessary action plan to keep actual within the budgeted levels.
Preparing of cash flows, and review of day to day fund holding position and timely transfer of funds to corporate. Ensuring Zero cheque bounce cases.
Ensuring all stock provisions (Aging, retail less than cost and Shrinkage), and expenses provisions are made and accounted correctly as per SOP.
Fort-nightly review of receivables aging and timely actions on overdue outstanding
Ensuring daily sales reconciliation are correctly performing by outsourced partners
Review of Vehicle utilization, repairs cost and monitoring of WH fill rates, BIN occupancy % and fort-night outsourced labor cost etc.,
Monitoring of GIT on weekly basis and coordinate with logistics team for timely GRN and to keep GIT within the acceptable days.
Monitoring and review of trouble code stock aging at WH and coordinate with logistic team to clear trouble aging.
Scheduling of stock counts at least twice a year for territory and ensuring stock counts are conducted as per schedule to Complain group SOP.
Review and analysis of Stock take result with reasons and providing necessary approvals to post the results.
Drew up corrective action plan to reduce shrinkage and timely monitoring the agreed action plan to control further shrinkage.
Review of aging stock on monthly basis and comparison with budged levels of inventory (Stock KPI).
Controlling of damage inventory and ensuring damage write off is within the acceptable limits.
Submission of monthly stock MIS to management.
Review of stock adjustments and ensuring all adjustments are corrective and sign off from GM.
Driving team for store BOE audits, functional audits. Achieved top rank in corporate BOE store audits. Driving store staff on day to day operational issues.
Ensuring no revenue leakage through cash shortage, improper discounts, overrides.
Monitoring and report on discounts, promotions, price revisions, markdowns and price overrides.
Ensuring all tenders Cash, credit, credit note, gift vouchers and loyalty points are reconciled on timely basis and no revenue leakage/shortages are recovered and correct accounting of tenders.
Reviews of department wise Intake margin are in line with budgeted margin and reason analysis for lower margin depts.
Monthly review of store wise P&L and providing suggestive action plan to improve GP & Sales.
Review of monthly financial statements and submission of true and fair MIS to corporate.

Closing the month end books of accounts in timely manner.
Managing payables & receivables and supervising banking activates.
Maintain liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out; developing external relationships with appropriate contacts (Banks, Solicitors, etc.). systems are functioning as intended and will enable the organization’s objectives and goals to be met.
Reports risk management issues regarding transportation of Chemical, Food and internal controls deficiencies identified directly in Operations & customer service to the Group CEO and provide recommendations for improving the organization’s operations.
Evaluates information security and associated risk exposures in Ebiz ERP-Oracle based application.
Experienced in ERP Implementation as a team coordinator.
Evaluates & Monitoring regulatory compliance program regarding consolidate transportation norms & customs clearance.
Maintains open communication with Group CEO and assist Accounts Manager.
Provides support to the company's anti-fraud programs relating to Hiring Vehicles & improper quotations, customer data base.
Maintaining accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts; defining accounting policies and procedures
Working on strategy formations, Finding Expansion plans about business to improve the Wealth & safety of organization.
Verification of hire payments relating to fleet operations for reasonability & accuracy in payments.
