My prime role is Windows Administrator and major responsibility in maintaining Windows 2003 server with Active directory services and Microsoft Exchange server 2003, with around 80 Servers remotely followed by other resources

Overall responsible for Projects Implementations and Windows Operations Support, managing a team of technical professionals supporting 24 x 7 with onsite and offshore model.
- Responsible for delivery on Windows Projects Implementation, and Incident, Problem and change management processes & Release
- Responsibility for customer escalations and act as a point of escalation both in and out of hours as required
- Ensure pro-active monitoring in place always for production systems and highlighting to Operations when we see small abnormalities to avoid production disturbances
- Adhered in SLA management in present client, defining best practices for project support & documentation for smooth support and better control on operations
- Working closely with different teams (DevOps team, infrastructure team including VMware, Citrix, Windows teams) to have control Operations
- Organize the status meetings and send the Status Report (Bi-Weekly and Monthly)
- Ensure quality, up-to-date documentation exists for all service arrangements
- Ensure team is multi skilled, trained and developed to enable them to deliver high quality service and support
- Achieve consistent customer satisfaction ratings and respond appropriate to customer feedback on areas for improvement
Previous Role & Technical skills: Technical Architect - Windows & Citrix
•Have experience working at Onsite for maintaining datacenter & server administration which includes Windows/UNIX Servers, VMware Server, Citrix Servers, Storage devices. Providing L3 support for Active Directory to Client’s Domain Enterprise with seven domains containing 185 domain controllers across different Hub and remote sites of Client located globally. Providing Level-3 support for Citrix environment. Participated in complete system builds, upgrades, migrations, code deployments and patch management. Administered change management related to server upgrades and software installation. Prepared and maintained documentation of technologies, standards and procedures. Coordination with Onsite & Offshore teams for better understanding. Direct Interactions with Client for better understanding of existing process developments and implementing the same w.r.t to Incident, Problem and Change Management.
•Citrix Administration:
•Architecting, managing and testing disaster recovery strategies for various elements of the Citrix on VMware infrastructure to include XenApp, Provisioning Server, XenDesktop 7.5/7.6 and Appsense 8.x Environment. Evaluate, install, configure, and deploy Citrix applications, software, and/or enhancements to existing Citrix XenApp 6.5 infrastructure. Support and implemented Citrix XenApp 6.0/6.5 environments including Web Interface and maintaining Citrix Server Farm and zone. Design, Deploy and manage applications (App-V and standard) on XenApp and XenDesktop. Develop, implement and maintain policies and procedures for Citrix system administration and appropriate use. Setup, Configuring & Managing pooled, assigned and shared desktops in XenDesktop farm. Investigate issues reported on virtual desktops by checking XenDesktop, XenApp, Appsense, App-V. Managing images in Citrix Provisioning Services, vSphere applications. Deploy, install and manage applications on XENAPP farm with APP-V virtualized applications. Reviewing and deploying service packs, hot fixes, security updates in accordance with best practices across Citrix on VMware instances and deployments.
•Appsense Administration:
•Configure Appsense Management Console for deployment. Configuring and managing Appsense Management Suite, Appsense Application Manager, Environment Manager, User Personalization for packaged and sequenced applications for Desktop and Citrix environment. Creating and managing reusable Actions, Conditions, configuring Group Policy, drive mapping, folder and files redirection and shortcuts using Appsense Environment Manager. Configure AppSense Management Suite for packages being created and elevate access as required and deploy setting to production environment.
•VMWARE Administration:
•Extensive knowledge of VMware ESX(i) systems and processes, including ESX and ESXi 3.5, 4.0, 4.1, 5. Extensive experience troubleshooting: application errors, operating system, server hardware, network communications and storage issues associated with the VMware environment. Manage virtual environments through vSphere Client connected to a virtual Center (vCenter). Maintaining VM ware ESX4 servers which are being setup newly in server environment in client Infrastructure. Administration of VMware vSphere ESX 4/5, ESXi 5.1 with virtual servers, data stores, Template etc.
•Data Center Management:
•Manage data center IT equipment planning including space, power, and overall capacity planning. Develop and maintain data center documentation including data center layouts, systems diagrams, and monthly space & power capacity tracking reports. Participate in data center equipment inventory management including, but not limited to, asset tagging, physical audits, coordination of client property pass requirements and any other asset control requirements. Communicate and coordinate activities directly affecting business operations (e.g., planned data center outages due to facilities work). Implement best-practices to provide and improve datacenter operations and support activities.
•AD Service Operations and Support
•Provide general description of how Active Directory service environment will be deployed and managed.
•Support and maintain the Active Directory infrastructure and all associated forests and domains
•Provide proactive capacity planning and tuning to ensure optimum performance levels and to meet operational metrics.
•Provide baselines for OS hardening
•Perform regular usage analysis, stress testing, and performance tuning.
•Provide technical consulting and support to the applications development and maintenance staffs as may Patch Management : Perform regular security patch updates and maintain risk management tools and applications for Active Directory infrastructure to ensure compliance with the Client Information Security and Risk Management (ISRM) standard and policy
