Supervised the Quantity Surveying and Contracts formulation departments of the consultancy.Also provided advisory services to Resident Engineers stationed at the sites on contractual matters. Drafting Contract documents and contractual correspondence etc. The scope included building projects as well as roads and Infrastructure.
The Master of Technology involved research and submission of a thesis. My thesis was on the use of Financial incentive schemes among grade 1 Contractors in Sri Lanka Students who were successful in the Post Graduate Diploma in Construction Management of the university held between 1991-1994 were eligible to enroll for the masters.
