Primary objective was to fulfill the transitioning role of Director Business Systems Role for Deliver Health, and complete the project execution of MS Dynamics 365 F&O and MS Dynamics 365 CE Apps.
Execution of the project and stabilization of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Apps to get it to a stage of readiness for transitioning to support.
Lead efforts to establish a COE & strategically initiate Dynamics 365 Practice for Aeries Technology Group (ATG) Business Solutions Pvt. Ltd. as a Microsoft Dynamics Solution Partner.
Major accomplishments included:
Successfully corrected long pending system configuration and implementation issues for Deliver Health, completed integration with legacy/3rd party systems;
Introduced and streamlined system governance processes including Access provisioning, Access Revocation, User management, ALCM, Application Security and Systems change management for Deliver Health.
Helped Deliver Health achieve readiness for Audits & ICFR.
Prepared the ground for transition to support mode under a lean managed services model with data driven measures to optimize operational costs and sustain productivity.
Successfully completed audit of the business systems for ensuring sufficient Internal Financial Controls and thereby establishing D365 F&O as a credible platform for Financial Accounting & Reporting needs in line with US GAAP norms.
Implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
Due Diligence of existing systems and business processes.
Current State Discovery, Gap Analysis, Solution blue print and establish road map for evolution of ERP Systems.
• Defined the program controls, or the processes, procedures, reporting, etc., to manage the program
• Led Dynamics 365 COE activities for the company, acted as advisory for project and support teams.
• Participated in Pre-Sales meetings with customers and sales team to diagnose requirements and worked along with presales team to develop project proposals, project effort estimations and schedules.
• Architected Dynamics 365 centered solution for Seadrill Inc, targeting a reduction in IT foot print, cloud modernization, and introduction of agile digitized processes by transitioning from Oracle ERP to Dynamics 365 seamlessly integrating with ISV solutions (Payroll, Financial Planning) and 3rd party systems (CLM).
• As Dynamics COE & Program Lead, formulated strategy for managing complex implementations of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations involving multi-language, multi-currency implementations spanning wide geo and time zones.
• Guided, mentored and collaborated with a team of talented resources for implementing Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations in various business scenarios.
• Established methods for proactive monitoring and diagnosis of the health of D365 Finance & Operations implementations
• Managed ERP transition for Invacare, Germany.
• Responsible for IT Governance, framing and propagating IT policies and standards in line with GE Information Security Policies and Guidelines.
• Setup and manage IT Helpdesk to deliver End User Support, ERP & Business Systems Support Services in line with established SLAs and ITIL framework.
• Responsible for forming IT strategy in line with Business Strategy and Growth Objectives.
• Manage Projects and Programs spanning IT Infra, connectivity, Info Sec tools, software and business applications.
• Planning, Design, Build, and Maintenance of ERP / CRM systems, HRMS, Payroll, BI Tools and Reporting Solutions.
• Assist in execution of business processes through systems and ensure monitoring of KRA’s and Key business indicators to ensure business performance in line with Objectives.
• Trusted Advisory to CFO and Management Team on Technology decisions.
• Developing and Controlling the IT budget and IT spends for the organization making clear distinction between IT for IT and IT for Business;
• Planning, designing, building, deploying and maintaining IT systems and operations;

• Presenting the objectives and anticipated benefits of IT projects and systems requirements to the board of directors (MD, JMD, CFO) and functional heads the context, objective & projected benefits and risks of new IT-related projects, and systems requirements.
• Ensuring adequate protection of Information assets, by proactively implementing tools and adoption measures for Data Loss Prevention and preventing unauthorized access to sensitive business information.
The IT Department of AF India has its in-house data center which hosts MS Dynamics 2009 in a virtualized environment, and which caters to a community of 35 users and 60+ nodes.
The responsibilities which I fulfilled in AF India in close collaboration with HQ are as follows:
Manage the program for implementation of ERP (Microsoft Dynamics Ax2009) in the offices of AF in Belgium and India.
Build and manage a data center for hosting Dynamics Ax 2009 on premises in Pune, India
Draft and implement policies & standards for governance of IT Systems and Business Applications.
Setup and Manage IT Team, Infrastructure and End User Support Services
