At HUED | Innovation & Design by Araamis, I am leading & managing a good number of UX design and research projects that cater to various ministerial and private sector entities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. A typical day at work goes in employing a wide range of methods for ideation and creation of design solutions that aim at making a difference in people’s life.
At Araamis, I am leading a number of UX design and research projects that cater to a couple of ministries in KSA. Some of these projects involve designing various mobile and web based services for the Ministry of Labor. In an ongoing project for other governmental bodies, design strategy around data analytics and visualization is being conceived and crafted.
Through ongoing design and innovation initiatives for our clients, we strive to make a difference to the business and to the lives of our end users.
Work profile involved leading & managing user experience design efforts on various SAS products and solutions, while ensuring user interface consistency. These efforts include creating design strategies and standards, gaining insights from users and business stakeholders, translating those insights into executable designs and evaluating new technologies.
Key Projects
SAS Credit Risk Management for Banking:- SAS® Credit Risk Management for Banking calculates and reports Regulatory Capital to meet Basel III requirements. The solution supports regulatory credit risk management across multiple jurisdictions, with built-in methodologies and pre-configured capabilities.
SAS Credit Scoring for Banking:- SAS® Credit Scoring for Banking enables financial institutions to more accurately develop and track credit risk scores, thereby reducing business risk through effective credit risk strategies. The solution enables financial services organizations worldwide to internally develop, validate, implement and report on credit scoring models faster.
SAS IT Resource Management:- The solution optimizes IT resource capacity and performance across enterprises.
SAS Quality Analytics Suite:- A suite of SAS manufacturing solutions that helps in reducing warranty costs, analyses manufacturing processes and manages asset performance.
SAS HTML5 Framework and Components
Work profile involves leading & managing user experience design efforts on various SAS products and solutions, while ensuring user interface consistency. Active engagement with product and technical management teams on conceptualizing product ideas and conceiving how those ideas can be transformed into usable interface designs. Work profile also comprised applying user-centered design processes in order to create user task flows, wire frames & design layouts.Info Edge India Ltd. Work profile entailed developing new ways of interaction with the configuration software ‘Service Tool’, developed by Danfoss A/s and used by field technicians in configuring refrigeration systems across the globe. Ethnography and user research were explored as tools to incorporate research findings into design solutions.
Core concern of this program (from the University of Dundee, Scotland, UK ) is the application of field based and largely qualitative approaches to understanding users needs, desires, requirements and and intents in order to provide designers and stakeholders in the design process with actionable design insights. The program also explores other approaches to user and market research such as: contextual design, usability testing, focus groups, surveys and innovatory methods in experience research.
The focus of this program (the only undergraduate level degree of its kind in an Indian Institute of Technology) is on the study, invention, and creative use of technologies to create effective, usable, enjoyable experiences with technology through interdisciplinary research in engineering, design, behavioral and social sciences, and to understand the impact of technology on individuals, groups, and organizations.
