Sr. QA/QC Engineer
(Site Lead QA/QC Engineer)
actively participate in its establishment and maintenance.
• Implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan to ensure compliance with the Client and regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for the technical supervision and guidance to project team and QA/QC personnel.
• Review the project documentation in order to prepare the applicable quality documentation - PQP, MS, ITPs.
• Assist and guide the Construction manager for preparing appropriate method statements and review the same for compliance with the project requirements
• Ensure implementation of record and document control procedures on site, ensuring that records and registers are maintained and daily updated, obsolete documents are properly marked and replaced.
• Ensures execution of works according to approved procedures and method statements.
• Assist the Project Manager to establish appropriate quality objectives that are aligned with the company’s objectives, and to monitor achievements. Schedule and conduct weekly quality meetings with the concerned stakeholders.
• Initiate incident capturing, investigation and resolution in co-ordination with project management team to analyse the cost impact.
• Ensure daily site quality control procedures are implemented and establish coordination with Engineer/Consultant to facilitate effective inspection and approval process.
• Assist preparing of final documentation -review for acceptance and compliance with the project requirements

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the QA/QC Manager / Project Manager and responsible for
Monitoring and working for the implementation of Approved Project Quality System/Plan.
Ensure all activities are in conformance with contract requirements, drawings, specifications and method statements.
Ensure all the contractual/Target's and local authority requirements Quality, Health and Environment (HSE) requirements are complied with.
Interaction with QA/QC, HSE, Independent Testing Laboratory, Subcontractors for the same.
Interact with HSE/Safety and ensure all permits to work are available for works on site and all safety precautions are taken.
Ensure proper interaction and co-ordination with Client, Site Laboratory and Site Team for project co-ordination.
Ensuring all Quality requirements are understood by site personnel/workmen and subcontractors and providing training in the quality systems and skill functions necessary.

Responsible for incoming quality of received materials and acceptance of the same along with the designated store keeper.
Ensuring and coordinating for the subcontractor quality control/implementation on site.
Ensure required inspection and tests are carried out, and completing records of successful completion of works and approvals for hold and witness points identified on the Inspection & Test plan.
Prepare and assist the senior QA/QC Engineer in the preparation of proper activity Method statement and ITP in co-ordination with construction and safety personals.
Ensuring all valid documentation/contract documents are being used on site.
Carrying out regular surveillance inspections for activities on site and that of subcontractors.
Ensure Non-conformance's if any are closed and taking timely preventive and corrective action, necessary liaison with QA/QC and HSE department.
Responsible for keeping As-Built records and ensuring this is reflected on the drawings as work progresses.
Responsible for completing of all Punch/Snag items and Project Close Out, preparation of Final Documentation and submissions of quality related documents as per the Client Dossier Index.
Responsible for overseeing/audits of subcontractor Quality Management systems, production and delivery of materials and works.
Project: FIRST GULF BANK OFFICE BUILDING, AL QURM, ABU DHABI - UAE: Ongoing-(present since initial excavation, shoring, piling works)…
• Monitoring and working for the implementation of Approved Project Quality System/Plan.
• Ensure all activities are in conformance with contract requirements, drawings, specifications, ITPs and method statements.
• Involved in progressive surveillance and work inspection with the QP Site Supervisor in coordination with the Site Engineer for a qualitative daily progress of works.
• Monitoring and working for the implementation of Approved Project Quality Plan.
• Take charge of all QA/QC documentation monitoring and updating properly. Control and the distribution of all the company’s quality documentation as per specification and in accordance with approved ITP/MS.
• Prepare and Assist the Lead QA/QC Engineer in the preparation of proper activity Method statement and ITP in co-ordination with construction and safety personals.
• Co-ordination and supervision of laboratory tests to confirm acceptance of works. Further evaluate the suitability of construction materials and construction techniques and tools. Review all relevant documentation and test report issued by third parties Lab Technician, Surveyor and submit records to the client for scrutiny.
• Involved in progressive surveillance and work inspection with the Third party inspector in coordination with the Site Engineer for a qualitative daily progress of works.
• Prepare, Assist the Lead Engineer to compile turnover dossiers. Prepare, Monitor and control the status of punch list and exception lists relevant to quality dossiers.
