Primary Responsibilities: Receive stores, transfers, and issues fuel through pipelines at main line or terminal stations. Receive fuel by tanker. Connects lines, grounding wires, and loading and offloading hoses to pipelines. Visually inspects samples of fuel, and checks gravity and flashpoint. Gauges tanks for water, temperature, and fuel levels. Checks pumping system for correct operating pressure or unusual noises. Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on terminal system. Performs routine logistical functions including preparation of receiving or shipping documents. Test fuel and prepare to issue for tomorrow and perform PMCS for all equipment. As an operator the most important thing is good housekeeping, three points of contact and good communications.

June 2012 - May 2014 FARP/Aviation Refueling Operator
Primary Responsibilities: Worked as FARP operator in Afghanistan since June 2009 to May 2012. As a FARP operator the first duty is to wear proper PPE for safety. Daily line, nozzles, hoses, pumps, fire extinguishers, eye wash stations, grounding, and bonding checks. Take sample for lab test before operation these are the primary responsibility, but the main task as a FARP operator is to refuel operational and civil helicopters in running condition with safety, during operation teamwork and good communication is very important.
