Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) owns and operates the field, which accounts for approximately half of Kuwait’s
total crude production. The following list indicates the commissioning periods for various gas handling
facilities in West Kuwait:
 Gas Sweetening Facility (GSF) - Commissioned in August 2010
 Tank Vapor Recovery Compressor at GC-16 - Commissioned in October 2012
 Gas Compression Package (GCP) - Commissioned in February 2015
 Gas Reinjection Package (GRIP) - Commissioned in March 2015
Key Responsibilities:
 Perform Operation, maintenance, inspections, and replacement of equipment as per process
requirement.
 Ensure that all QHSE standards and procedures (LOTO, PTW, TBT, and JSA) are implemented in the
field and documented correctly in the control room.
 Understand the plant P&ID’s drawings, cause & effect matrix and Fire & Gas detection system.
 Monitor and operate wells and associated surface equipment, including pumps, natural gas
compressors, pumping units, valves, tanks, and other vessels, and maintain a safe work environment
for the company. Operate and maintain facilities, low pressure and high-pressure separators, low
pressure and high-pressure flare scrubbers, compressor suction scrubbers.
 Amine Absorbers & Gas dehydration process.
 Dosing of chemicals and preparation of chemical solutions as per process requirement.
 Working for DCS Operation (EMERSON DELTA-V) by Monitoring the Process Parameters of the
Plant to Meet the Specified Consumption and Product Specification.
 Performs safely all assigned tasks such as daily routine activity, field checks, equipment preparation
for maintenance, routine samples, checking conditions of the running equipment, daily reading logs,
shift handover logs, etc.
 Inform immediately to the Control Room Operator and Operations Lead about any abnormality.
 Aware of the Field Operator duties during emergencies.
 Experience in carrying out the routine run test equipment like Emergency Diesel Generator, Gas
generator, Diesel Pump, Electrical Pump and Compressor & Periodic Changeover of Rotating
Equipment.

. (Refinery Tank farm, Utility Plant & ETP)
HPCL-Mittal Pipelines Limited refines and markets oil and gas products. The Company offers liquefied
petroleum gas, fuel gas, and hydrogen, as well as storage and cross-country transportation services.
HPCLMittal Pipelines serves customers in India.
Key Responsibilities:
 Commissioning checking and maintaining of Tank accessories like pontoon, Roof legs, Roof drain,
Emergency drain, Breather vent, Ream vent, Weathering seal, Roof leader, Tank Dip Hatches,
Cathodic protection, Foam pourer, Sprinkler deluge system and Instrument like AT, ATG, LT, LSHH.
 Support Tank Farm Operations and maintenance activities.
 Responsible to do the changes in the field as instructed by the panel officer for the safe and effective
operation of the plant.
 Reporting operational abnormalities and implementing and corrective measures through link
management. Check in plant log sheet each hour and make several recordings such as oil flow
temperature and pressure.
 Adequate knowledge of firefighting and safety, firefighting by sprinkler system, deluge system, F&G
system, Rim seal Foam pourer system in tanks and adequate knowledge of HSEF procedure
 Various units during maintenance. Piping - Loop preparation, Hydro test, Flushing, Pigging,
Cardboard blasting, Mechanical clearance, Inspection Test Plan Reviews, checking the line-up,
monitoring of Tank parameters through ATG readings, tank settling, mixing, product sampling, water
draining. Monitoring pumps, handing over of pumps to electrical/mechanical dept. for maintenance.
 Monitoring all the routine and non-routine jobs in the plant with the help of work permit system.
 Checking the line-up of the tank when tank receive the product form the unit or other tank farm.
 Taking the TMB sample for product certification and other types of sample taken like all level sample
and dead bottom sample for the product checking.
 Water draining of the tanks &Valve and pump operation in tank area
 Tank Gauging with the Oil Company persons and Govt. officers.
 Experience in carrying out the routine run test equipment like Emergency Diesel Generator, Gas
generator, Diesel Pump, Electrical Pump and Compressor & Periodic Changeover of Rotating
Equipment.
 Routine checkup Foam pourer, rim seal cylinder, Pressure relief valve, Fire water sprinkler system and
Deluge system.
 Ability to prioritize day to day workload, including LOTO, maintenance, construction and work over
activities.
 Apply HCS standards of Personnel Health & Safety using proper PPE’s and deal with chemicals by
knowledge of MSDS of different Chemicals to protect plant employees.
 Involved in Commissioning of plant utilities like Condensate Water, Fuel Gas, LP/HP Compressors,
Instrument/ Plant Air.
 Making Punch points list and shut down job list in Co-Ordination with Maintenance.
