Sales Manager - Qatar Duty Free, Qatar Airways
• In-charge of Sales and Business Development.
• Managing the daily activities of the store including planning and promotions of various brands.
• Coordinating with the Buying Team to make sure we have the right products and promotions at all times.
• Manage overall day to day operations of the store, including hiring, reviewing, and employee scheduling.
• Ensured that appropriate levels of inventory for product lines are maintained and ordered.
• Communicating clear business messages to staff.
• Appropriately delegate tasks for employees to allow the store to be fully stocked and orderly.
• Establishing training programmes for the new employees.
• Maintain up to date knowledge on all product's in the store and sold throughout to understand the business demand and customer preference
• Sales Planning
• Recruitment, Training & Development of Sales Team.
• Chase and Achieve Targets as per the Sales Plan
• Sales Analysis & taking corrective measures if there is any deviation from plans.
• Provide inputs, insights and market feedback to the management and other departments
• Working closely with departments such as Finance, Marketing & HR to achieve common objective
• Managing the daily activities for the branch.
• Meet and exceed assigned volume sales targets and quotas by prospecting, identifying, developing and closing sales opportunities through the entire sales cycle.
• Ascertain customer needs describe product capabilities, answer customer queries and ultimately sell products.
• Develop and implements aggressive account strategies to “manufacture deals” that will increase Dell volume sales revenue and provide a logical, cost-effective investment for the customer by researching and understanding customer trends and buying pattern.
• Anticipate the customers’ needs and maintains excellent customer service through to the close of sale.
