all pc’s changed from workgroup domain to server domain and connecting their session to the profile created on the active directory with roaming profile options.
•Creating a backup schedule for all the directory structures on the server where differential backup’s taken on a daily basis and a physical backup once per week using ntbackup utility.
•Monitoring each user session and server performance using the performance & monitoring tool and killing unwanted server sessions.
•Introducing a firewall system (Netgear prosafe VPN firewall FVS318 model )and keeping the firewall as the default gateway for all the internet routes
•Using the Netgear firewall product for blocking all excess usage of internet services and ports and monitoring the usage and traffic consumption.
•Establishing vpn connectivity between three locations in Dubai with public IP’s and dyn DNS concepts using the Netgear product and having remote login options enabled.
•Trouble shooting issues with network printers like Konica Minolta Bizhub C353.
•Currently working on an in house project using Oracle 10g forms and reports and 10g database. Application being built as per the needs and requirements from the HR department. Created Oracle HRMS modules, Payroll modules.
