Reviewing Material submittals, shop drawings & method statements of all electrical & ELV systems such as Lighting, Small Power, Earthing & Lightning Protection, Telephone & Data, Fire Alarm, CCTV, CATV, MATV, Access Control, Intercom, Public Address, Security, AV System, BMS System and Central Battery System.
Reviewing Contractor's interim monthly payments.
Coordinating with Client / Contractor’s representatives.
Attending technical & regular progress meetings with Project managers, contractors & sub-contractors and addressing any progress, co-ordination or quality related issues in the same.
Supervising the execution of the electrical works in the projects and ensure that it is executed as per contract condition within the time specified.
Leading site inspectors for all kinds of electrical & low current work inspections & material inspections.
Providing proper response to RFIs (Request for Information) raised by contractors.
Raising Non Conformance Reports (NCR) for identified findings.
Strong interpersonal, time management and communication skills, able to work independently or in a team environment.
Ensuring use of latest revision of all contract Documents, contract Specifications and engineering reference and Standards.
Ensuring compliance of all activities at site with QA/QC procedure, specification & standards.
Addressing any progress & quality related issues in meetings.
Ensuring all construction activities are being carried out as per approved shop drawings, Method statements, ITP’s, contract specification & to the related code of the practice.
Raising internal NCRs/Observations for the identified findings.
Ensuring the maintenance of signed off inspections and test records.
Obtain all Authority approvals for the project like DEWA Design approval for Total Connected load, Single line diagram, Load schedule and Shop drawings.
Prepare IFC drawings.
Review, approve and process all electrical technical submittals.
Review, approve and process all electrical material submittals and samples for compliance to the Project specification.
Review & approve Contractor's shop drawings, in compliance with IFC drawings, Project specification and National and International standards.
Review contractor's correspondence related to electrical works. Prepare appropriate response when necessary for the Resident Engineer's/ Project Manager’s review.
Review contractors' claims related to electrical works. Prepare recommendations for claims approval or rejection. Assist in negotiations with contractors regarding the value of claims or changes in schedules.
Witness testing and commissioning of the works.
Approve the contractors' as-built drawings and O&M manual submittals.
Preparation & Submission of Technical documents, Data sheets, Design Qualification for the projects to meet the project specifications and client requirements and coordination with them for the approval.
Cable Sizing Calculation, Cable route design, Cable Selection and Estimation
Detail Engineering for inter connection, Single line Design
Coordination and Monitoring of project activities and System Integration
Preparation & Submission of Technical documents, Data sheets, Design Qualification for the projects to meet the project specifications and client requirements and coordination with them for the approval.
