Project Description:
Alcatel 1000 E10 is a new technology telephone exchange of BSNL/MTNL. These telephone exchanges have been installed and maintained by ITI Ltd. The Alcatel 1000 E10 (OCB283) can be a local switching center, regional or national transit center, international transit center, intelligent network service access point, mobile service access point in the telecommunications network.
Working environment:
Software/Tools: Various Tools of ALCATEL switch ( OMPC, Xtalk, , WAM),
Machines/Switch: ALCATEL 1000 E 10 ( MSC, SSP), CSNL/CSND ( Local/Remote subscriber unit)
Operating system: Windows
Contribution:
• Involved in network maintenance of MSC.
• Installation of line mode terminals (PGS, PCWAM, VT 100), system consoles.
• Power up the switch and load software (using RTOS), testing, commissioning of ALCATEL switch (OCB 283)
• Creating all site data (such as numbering analysis, routing analysis, signaling, charging data, subscriber data) according to the customer's specification.
• Verify all subscriber facilities, software check sum. Performing Acceptance test and Handing over the MSC to the customer.
• Provide technical support for maintenance and maintain inventory control.
Technical Exposure:
• Working knowledge on Alcatel 1000E10 OCB 283.
• Worked in all levels of (PSTN) landline switches (OCB 283) in telecom network - local, tax & tandem.
• Platforms - Windows 98, 2000, XP, MS-Office
• In-house training in OCB-283 from ITI LTD PALLAKAD.
• I have worked as Installation & Commissioning Technician in ITI Limited, (Dec 2005 to jan2006)
