Specialized in integration of software built on AS/400 platform using RPG and Synon with external systems by providing business services in the form of SOAP-based stateless web services built using Java JAX-WS technology. Proficient in both AS/400 related technologies used by the back-end system and Java web services technology used by the integration layer with end-to-end understanding of both layers of the highly complex and functionally rich system.

Also developed Business Process Models in Cordys Business Operations Platform BPM tool used to integrate multiple software systems.

My responsibilities are designing developing implementing maintaining and writing programs. Determining feasibility time and cost estimation. Serves as a group/team leader for Java Web Services team in India. Interacts with multiple ICOMS clients including tier 1 clients like Time Warner Cable and Cox Communications.

I am profcient in both AS/400 related technologies like ILE RPG, Synon, DB2 and SQL used by the back-end system and Java web services technology used by the integration layer with end-to-end understanding of both layers. I serve as the single point of contact for any issues encountered while using the web services layer irrespective of whether the actual issue is in Java Web Services layer or ICOMS AS/400 back-end implemented in RPG and Synon.

Analyzes and interprets business requirements to technical specifications from a business stance to determine how the user will utilize the the vast ICOMS end-to-end billing system. Analyzes existing applications systems and programming logic problems and, where necessary, revise the logic and procedures. Designs and writes programs in accordance with client specifications. Performs unit tests and final analysis on test results of projects. Produces and maintains program documentation. Provides on-call product support. Writes technical specifications for Associate, Programming/Analysis.
