Welcome guests as they check in or out & perform necessary service. Assure front desk is manned & maintained at all time. Review arrivals & departures. Provide information to guests about hotel services & offers. Respond & take action on guest complaints & problems. Receive & acknowledge reservations & cancellations.
Responsible for promoting & suggesting menu items to the hotel guests. Accurately confirm the food order in additional to communicate the information to the kitchen or bar to fulfill. Record order & process payment. Ensure the guest sign the bill (to be extra to the room charge) or give for the order. Answer phone within three rings. Maintain cleanliness of the work area throughout the day. Complete all closing reports including MICROS reports.
To welcome guest to the hotel assisting them with their luggage’s. To escort guest to the reception and then to the room. To inform guest the room facilities and features. To assist guest with restaurant reservation, and various types of bookings. To collect check out luggage’s from the room upon guest request.
Welcoming and seating the guests, presenting them the menus and taking order. Recommendation, up-selling and service of menu courses and beverages. Ensuring the standards of service delivery during lunch and dinner service. Responsible for a daily requisition of beverages and miscellaneous items. Preparation of the mise en place and setting up the restaurant.
I had completed my Senior Secondary from the above mentioned institution. I had also completed a 6 months course in Advanced Certificate in Web Applications from NIIT in the year April 2005. I had also completed a 6 months course in the Industrial Training in Front Office, F&B Service, F&B Production and Housekeeping department from Nalanda Institute of Advanced Studies in the year of March 2010.
