• Management of the Team in charge of Local and Foreign Procurement
• Evaluate RFI and RFQ documents for strategic go/no-go decisions; prepare responses to RFI and RFQ's including cost, sales price and budget proposals for business decisions.
• Negotiates with suppliers to draw up procurement contracts: • Negotiates, administers, extends, terminates, and renegotiates contracts
• Analyze blueprint and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Confer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
• Establish and maintain tendering process, and conduct negotiations.
• Directs and coordinates activities of workers engaged in formulating bid proposals.
• Evaluates or monitors contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations.
• Conduct special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data or to effect cost reduction.
• Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
• Follow up and update administrative contract obligations.
• Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
• Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures.
• Explore products and/or services solutions to meet customer needs at an optimum profitability.
• Support FCCI Management team with cost and sales prices and profitability analyzes.
• Prepare Quality estimating reports to evaluate project wise sales, cost and profit analysis.
• Supplier Base Reduction: Fine Tune Suppliers Data-base and biyearly evaluation, to improve quality and control.
• Managing Database for the ongoing Bids and their supporting documents.
• Participate in the bidding process for various telecom projects
• Identify the need for materials - Shelters, A/Cs, generators, towers, monopoles, raised floors, concrete blocks, cables, connectors, antennas, towers, monopoles for telecom projects and find suppliers for the materials.
• Send RFQ for requirement of Telecom materials
• Prepare summary sheets for various quotations received and identify the lowest quote and negotiate for better prices.
• Create and update database for Suppliers and materials.
• Maintain, administer and monitor the Local and International Purchase process for Telecommunication projects across Middle East regions.
• Identify the need for civil work, Telecom implementation services and find new & prospective suppliers for the same.
• Vendor database Management based on QCD analysis
• Preparing reports for QMS to evaluate supplier's performance for ISO.
• Maintain records of invoices, purchase orders, bids, proposals, and requisitions
• Contact vendors to obtain prices, terms, technical descriptions and other pertinent information.
• Receive and review Purchase Requisitions / Orders for accuracy, completeness and proper authorization.
• Expedite Purchase Orders.
• Design / write process for smooth functioning of various processes in the procurement department.
• Prepare clear, accurate, and concise quarterly reports to evaluate project wise costing.
