Store Operations:
Creating and maintaining standard operating procedures
Conducting inventories and store audits
Setting and monitoring KPIs.
Drive sales in the stores in order to meet the targets of the organization by developing and growing a customer focussed approach within stores, understanding competition and keeping the store staff focussed on the targets.
Providing feedback on merchandising, pricing and buying
Monitoring stock
Maintain awareness of the organisation’s priorities within each store
Generating high mystery shopper scores
Ensure law & policies are met without exception.
HR, Training & Employee Development
Lead and motivate the team (by walking the talk) as well as develop team spirit, in order to achieve a forward looking, fully aligned workforce.
Conduct performance appraisals in order to ensure that employees are made aware of their areas of strengths, and developed in their areas of weaknesses.
Support the recruitment process for store-based roles in order to ensure that the right calibers of employees are being hired.
Ensure that all disciplinary issues are addressed in line with the processes laid down by HR so that the organization is fair in its treatment of such issues and is not in breach of the law.
Create and maintain in-house training material and conduct trainings, both soft skills and product related, in order to ensure a fully up to- date work force.
Store Opening & Maintenance
Manage the store openings, from concept to the actual openings, in order to ensure that the store opening schedules are respected and followed.
Ensure that stores are fully maintained, in order to meet companies and the brand guidelines.
