• Planning, switching and maintaining operations of Electricity Voltage Distribution Network - 11kv, 22kv, 33kv and 400volt for planned and reactive power outages.
• Co-ordinate all planned works and Live Line operations on the electrical network to ensure system availability is always kept to a maximum.
• Protect networks resilience and customers while enabling network growth, maintenance and reinforcement works.
• Recording completed work in database and reactive short notice outages that impact customers & advising or escalating to management of any risks to Vector.
• Manage all documentation for planned work, including isolation requests.
• Process and facilitate planned work involving customer supply interruptions.
• Issuing operational equipment plate numbers to ensure number uniqueness and Administering/Allocating Asset Numbering System.
• Administer the Key management system and network change process.
• Liaison with Field Service Providers, Vectors key Account Managers, Operations controllers, Network support services, External comms team and Transpower is crucial to the success of this role.
• Reporting and analysis using various systems (e.g., SABI Portal, Siebel Energy, GIS, HVSPEC, SCADA, Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, BI Report Server, Google maps, Yammer, SharePoint, Citrix Receiver, Gentrack Installation system, Command Centre for Cardax key system and Salesforce)
• Maintain up to date operational standards by carrying out routine reviews.
