- Conduct credit assessment of Corporate and SME Clients with detailed and thorough evaluation of business model, client’s industry, its management strength, competitive position, financial statement analysis including forecasts;
- Critical review of Client and Group facilities, highlight key risks and develop their terms and conditions;
- Portfolio stress testing and categorisation of customers into High to Low risk;
- Monitor portfolio in terms of returns, overdue, payment delays and proactively manage risk and compliance to credit policy;
- Dealt with clients for debt restructuring and account receivable collections;
- Ensure adherence to CDD (customer due diligence) and KYC (know your customer) policies and regulations;
- Conduct regular review of existing credit policy and guidelines to be up to date with industry and economic situation.
Key Achievements
- Successfully reviewed, analysed and recommended SME & Corporate cases up to AED 50 million per month;
- Successfully developed credit policy manual within the allocated time frame;
- Successfully developed supply chain finance program for ecommerce finance with one of renowned ecommerce platforms Noon.com;
- Successfully developed mortgage finance policy document.
- Work on complex Tender submissions and technical proposals along with support of Operations/ Commercial Manager for on-site details;
- Prepare revenue forecasts and budgets. Share analysis of financial forecasts with senior management;
- Suggest policy changes and goals to improve profits;
- Ensure contract’s terms and conditions are abided by and conform to industry standards;
- Produce regular Commercial sales reports and revenue records and analysis for Dept. meetings with necessary statistics.
- Develop thorough understanding of all Bank divisions through rotational training and then worked in HR division with Recruitment team for Centralized Groups Bank wide;
- Sourcing for vacant positions by social and professional network (i.e. Linked-in, Twitter etc.), in timely and efficient manner;
- Ascertains Job Descriptions for Centralized Banking Group and HR;
- Manage Internship portfolio including placement, stipend, record keeping, certificate and follow-up;
- Conduct Education verification of newly inducted staff. Maintain MIS and share with the Manager as and when required;
- Develop process to deal with disciplinary cases due to unauthorized absence;
- Review grievance cases, investigate and discuss with the Manager.
Rotation 1: Account Manager- Branch Banking (June ’07 - Feb ’08)
- Maintain portfolio of 450 existing customers and look after their service needs and New to Bank acquisition of Individual liabilities;
- Conduct Branch banking activities, such as account opening, CBC from customers, route customers to alternate distribution channels of banking etc.
Rotation 2: Product Manager - Liabilities - SME (Feb ’08 - Aug’08)
- Maintain a portfolio and achieve budgeted growth in SME Banking-liabilities section, within agreed and approved business risk parameters;
- Work closely with Treasury division to provide best possible saving rate on large SME deposits;
- Review and update PDD (Product Development Document).
