I am working as Administrative Assistant at Alfaisal University since 12/12/2020, In the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences. I provide assistance to the head of the department Dr. Yasser Al Tamimi for a strategic plan for each new semester, scheduling meetings, helping the faculty with preparing exams on the website for their students and distributing students' grades after exams are finished using the ExamSoft website. I have a professional IT background that gives me advantage for computer skills such as Microsoft office, preparing zoom meetings as much as my administrative experience. I am excellent in communication skills in both Arabic and English languages
1. Answers phone and screens visitors; provides detailed information regarding services and explains procedures; may provide advice; refers calls to appropriate people if more information is needed; takes Messages; responds to the more difficult inquiries and requests; and serves as an informational resource to staff.
2. Creates and updates unit’s files, purging inactive files and maintaining unit’s computerized databases.
3. Monitors inventory and supplies; prepares requisitions and orders supplies.
4. Drafts a variety of correspondence and memos for supervisor’s approval; types and proofreads manuals,
books, and other material and creates forms for Department use
5. Responds to complex inquiries and requests; serves as informational resource to staff.
6. Prepares contracts and rate schedules for employees, coordinates payments and researches and resolves discrepancies.
7. Receives data and checks for accuracy and enters it into the computer system; may create, update, and maintain files and databases.
8. May perform a variety of administrative tasks including scheduling and maintaining a calendar, making travel arrangements, scheduling and coordinating meetings, and processing time sheets and attendance reports.
9. Provides clerical support for committees, special projects, and task forces.
10. Assists in proctoring Exams in Department/College.
11. Assists in coordinating and running Exams Soft.
12. Attends to any other tasks required by the Department /College.
13. Performs all duties in a professional, effective, and confidential manner.
14. Performs all other related duties as required or assigned by the manager.
Duties/Core Responsibilities.
-Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications.
-Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
-Talk staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues
-Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
-Replace parts as required
-Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
-Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
-Support the roll-out of new applications
-Set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
-Respond within agreed time limits to call-outs
-Work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
Priorities and manage many open cases at one time
-Rapidly establish a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, such as software developers
-Test and evaluate new technology
-Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
-Maintain procedures and reports that provide technical support to the entire organization.
-Analyze records and logs to spot underlying trends and potential issues.
-Support the implementation of new solutions or applications.
-Establish accounts for new users and assist with password or login problems.
-Participate in business-wide meetings to provide insight into technical requirements.
I worked in the National Commercial Bank (Alahli Bank).
Support and maintenance of IT hardware in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which covers all the branches, corporate offices of the NCB and Quick Pay branches. Handling issues related to application and hardware (desktop, laptop and other peripherals). Coordination with other teams for issue resolution. Preventive maintenance for PCs and server rooms in all the branches. Routine checks of IVR system. Provide break-fix support for all the hardware, CISCO IP phone configuration, and Call Manager and arranging new extensions.
- Entering data into a system ( Excel).
- Translate paper from Arabic to English language and the opposite.
- Record pill.
- Sending & receiving emails.
