Lead the formulation and development of comprehensive financial information. Develop accurate operational budgets and financial reports as required by Managers and external stakeholders.
Budgeting:
• Sending budgetary reports to ministry of finance, such as expenditure reports and requesting funds letters.
• Conducts and Reviews cost analysis studies based on the organization's operational processes and procedures with aim to improve cost efficiencies.
• Prepares periodic budget reports and analyses of budget implementation during the year.
• Prepares various analysis and spending reports.
• Oversees the overall implementation and utilization of approved budgets ensuring
compliance with budget policies and guidelines.
• Forecasts departmental budgets on the basis of historical trends, economic
environment and trends.
• Critically review and analyses budgetary policies and procedures in order to
recommend and implement changes leading to best-practice operations.
• Evaluates budgets process and procedures with objective of improving processes
and making them more time and cost efficient.
• Prepare the annual budget of IMCTC.
Financial Accounting:
• Participate in the migration from cash accounting to the IFRS standards.
• Provide recommendation on migrating the finance and accounting system.
• Participate in implementing the ERP system of the finance department.
• Supervise preparation of financial statements and notes to financial statements
in accordant with IFRS standards.
• Reviewing all the entries and payments process.
• Bank reconciliation revision.
• Support in establishing and maintaining appropriate internal financial controls.
• Preserve the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information in line with the
organization policies and procedures.
• Maintain Internal control, by support in establishing and maintaining appropriate
internal financial controls.
• Providing Professional Advice, by providing clarifications and information support
by responding to queries on specific budgeting or accounting issues.
• Prepare annual financial statements for IMCTC.

I worked in lunching the VAT Project, some of the tasked I did was:
- Relationship Manager for very large taxpayers
- Track the companies’ readiness to apply the VAT tax in January 2018.
- Answer any questions in the Accounting or Finance area regarding the VAT tax.
- Meeting with the very large taxpayers, and Reviewing Tax returns.
