core responsibilities include the following:
 Preparing financial statements and analyzing them to review the financial and operational
performance of different departments.
 Submission of Quarterly VAT Return and compliance with FTA. Handling FTA Audit and fulfilling
Output and Input requirements and preparing VAT file.
 Preparing financial statements including statement of comprehensive income, statement of financial
position, cash flow statement, and statement of change in equity along with notes to the accounts for
external auditors as required by IFRS and UAE law.
 Performing month end procedures to finalize monthly financial statements including adjustment of
prepayments, advances and accruals and provisions.
 Posting journal entries, preparing ledgers and control accounts, trial balance, cash account, bank
account and bank reconciliation statement.
 Updating Fixed Assets Register with addition/disposal and calculating depreciation as per IAS 16.
 Preparing final settlements, gratuity and end of service benefits.
 Managing salary process keeping in view the requirements of MOHRE and CBUAE.
 Maintain external relationships with banks, customers, vendors and External Auditor.
