Trade marketing is more involved in sales. I was responsible on sales reports, fact sheets, competitors activities reports, calculation of customer incentives, promotion pack allocations, tracking of sales problems, etc.
When I moved to Ikea they put me in a new department which was the delivery and assembly department but it was considered as a sister company to IKEA. I was the Second employee moved to that department after the GM who I was reporting to him directly. Me and my manager covered all the positions in the new company (flow) either in the country office or in IKEA Jeddah store. We set our department (delivery and assembly) from scratch until we started serving our customers with big fleet and strong team.
I was one of the teamwork of the administrative consulting with 5 experienced consultants. I was helping them in their different projects as each one of them is a master in a different field. This diversity of work made me achieve a lot of diverse experiences in a short time. For example, I have done two visibility studies with them and I was engaged in a quality project (ISO) and I was part of restructuring project (HR).
