• Assisting the municipality of Alhasa in the project "Strategic Study and Design of Storm Drainage System in Alhasa ". The project includes hydrological, hydraulic, topographic surveys, evaluation of lakes including environmental impact assessment, evaluation of existing drainage system of Alahsa region, and geotechnical studies. Assessing and evaluating hydromet data in the region. The study proposes construction of strategic canals, drains, stormwater networks, pump stations and earth dams.
The works involve implementing stormwater drainage and flood protection systems, buildings, electrical and mechanical works, roads, signage, and gardens. Additionally, providing technical support and supervising hydrology and hydraulic studies for stormwater drainage and flood protection are crucial aspects of the work, ensuring the comprehensive development of all infrastructure throughout the entire municipality.

• Configurations and calibration of Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) for flow, velocity, sediment analysis, and river / canal sections using calibrated flowmeters to better manage water and reduce the operation costs.

Dr. Bushara was appointed as the senior technical irrigation engineer and worked on the management, development, and planning of the Nile Basin. He conducted a comprehensive water balance study for the entire Nile River, which was complemented by an irrigation study aimed at introducing sugar cane cultivation in the Gezira scheme (2.2 million feddans). The water balance study included all components such as the environment, downstream requirements, irrigation, industry, water supply, and groundwater recharge. The crop water requirements for different proposed crop patterns were determined and analyzed to support decision-makers in introducing sugar cane to the Gezira scheme.
Key Duties and Responsibilities of Dr. Bushara:
Conduct data collection from all involved ministries, primarily the Ministry of Water Resources and the Ministry of Agriculture.

* Foundations of mud filters in Kenana sugar factory
* Implementation of diversion canals.
* Train cane handling phase I (Kenana city). It consists of one 40 tone motor lorry tip, two x 60-ton motor lorry tips and two elevated bridges.
* Boilers foundations (Kenana).
* Animal Feed plant & warehouse (Kenana).
* Some hydraulic structures (Kenana).
* multistory building (Kassala city).
* Water treatment unit in Faw city. This is the main water supply station implemented to supply the city with drinking water.
* Sondos main pump station (Khartoum city). This is the main pump station for Sondos agricultural scheme, South of Khartoum, and it pumps water from the White Nile to irrigate the scheme.
