• Head of Distribution and Logistics, DGM (November 2015- Continuing), Beximco Petroleum ltd: Design and develop distribution network for LPG cylinders throughout the country. Carry out related market research for business projection, sourcing of resources, competitors’ strategy, practice etc. Carry out fieldwork for finding suitable stock holding positions and negotiating for rent. Supervising setting up a warehouse, formulating operating SOP, checklist etc and monitor operation. Study and analyze suitable route to market and mastering resources for distribution. Developing logistics solutions, transportation cost modelling, and related procurement. Sourcing suitable vendor, negotiating and entering into a long-term contractual agreement and subsequently dealing with their management issues. Additional activities to my role: LPG in bound logistics resources mapping, participating in LPG market identification, demarcation, distributor selection planning etc.

Played key role in up gradation as Cambridge Associate and expansion of Al-Hidaayah international school. Supervised academic, administrative, financial, logistic, marketing and promotion matters etc for school functioning. Organised educational workshop and seminars with international orators involving teachers and guardians. Supervised staffing, staff development, handling of grievances, payment, disengagement of employees etc.

Bangladesh Battalion in United Nations Missions in Sudan: Played key role in planning and directing operations, training and security management of a battalion of 860 personnel in a global environment. Maintained law and order situation in South Sudan for smooth transition to independence.

Supervised Administration, Human Resource Management, Financial management, welfare and security. Effectively organized and administered HR matters including preparation and disbursement of salary, HR documentations and policies-- addressing problematic cases aptly. Looked into welfare matters, grievances, legal issues and presided over welfare conferences. Planned and organized carrier development for the men, including field training to ensure trainees have attained enabling objectives. Ensured security of personnel, material and information. Conducted post purchase evaluation of military hardware as a member of acceptance team after delivery of an air defence system from a foreign supplier. Ensured right kind and cost, transparent procurement as president and member of purchase committees in garrison and unit related purchases. Carried out annual procurement and budgetary forecast, ensured allotments with justification, supervised purchase and ensured after purchase audits.

Bangladesh Military Academy (BMA): Supervised training and programme management for officer cadets’, civil services officers training, programme management of Commissioning Ceremony (eight times) etc. Arranged and facilitated symposiums. Carried out coordination and liaison with different agencies and headquarters to effect and support training of cadets and trainee officers. Undertook policy analysis, planning and programming of BMA training, ceremonial and administrative activities of BMA. Undertook training project for training 100 Srilankan Cadets and introducing Bsc Engineering programme in the academy. Identified problem areas of training and carried out analysis demonstrating proven analytical skills. Outlined training schedule, prepared reports and conducted presentations on key issues, articulating options precisely and made defending recommendations. Demonstrated strong interpersonal skill to maintain effective working relations with all concerned in making visibly effective and systematic training of cadets.

Leadindg 250 personal in military assignments, emergency response, humanitarian relief, traning exercises etc. Supervisedtheir administration and HR matters, effectively dealt with stress factor while working under pressure.

Observed, analyzed and reported conflict information. Collected population database, carried out monitoring and evaluation of social development, coordinated with NGOs for helping the distressed people. Performed operational management of Force Headquarters, election monitoring, initiating daily situation reports to Special Representative of the Sectary General. Learned to work in friendship, trust and mutual respect in a multinational environment with the people of different countries. Have initiated evaluation and assessment report after completion of disarmament and presidential election in Sierra Leone as an observer responsible in front line, which was a reference work for the headquarter staffs.

Assisted superior officer in operations and training management of an air defence Brigade. Maintained database, evaluation and assessment, arranged conferences, wrote minutes of meeting etc. Arranged a number of high-level presentations, professional study programmes, training exercises involving headquarters and subordinate echelons. Acted as umpire to monitor and assess subordinate echelon's performance in training exercises.

Assisted commanding officer in formulating policies affecting administration, training and other disciplinary matters. Ensured sound administration and maintained discipline of the regiment. Prepared and reviewed Standing Operating Procedure. Demonstrated proven ability in composing orders, instructions, and reports clearly and concisely to communicate effectively. Learned command, leadership and management as junior officer.
