. Design, Drawing, Engineering, Procurement, supply, storage, Dismantling of Existing equipments, erection of new equipment, testing, commissioning, demonstration of performance guarantee test and handed over the project to clients. Modernization & up gradation of Sinter Machine 1 & 2 at Visakhapatnam steel plant site Visakhapatanam in the form of one -stop solution. for engineering across the continents
Visakhapatnam steel plant project site my responsibilities are;
•Installation & commissioning, which is supplied by DANIEAL for Billet Caster-1 including the cantilever type Tundish car, Hydraulic system for withdrawal & straightner. Installation & commissioning of Rigid Dummy bar with automatic bar disconnection device to replace existing Flexible dummy bar, Automatic torch cutting machine instead of shear mechanism.
•Installation and commissioning of Vessel suspension with Tunion Ring for 3 Nos converter by Fabricating at VSP Site, which is supplied by SMS Demag (Germany).
•Installation and commissioning of new DM Plant for billet caster supplied by THERMAX.
•Installation & commissioning of 150 Ton LADLE FURNACE-2 supplied by SMS Demag (p) Ltd. Including steel transfer cars for handling hot metal, FAFA system through conveyor mechanism, belt /chain conveyor, Re-circulating water system for primary and secondary cooling, Gas cleaning plant, ESP, WWTP and Fin fan cooler etc for Steel melting shop.
• Erection & commissioning of Hot metal transfer cars for unloading hot metal by 260Tand 320T Torpedo in Torpedo reloading pits.
•Installation & commissioning of Hot Metal Desulphurization Plant-2 for reducing Sulphur content of steel supplied by B K.3Ton capacity Slag Ranking machine supplied by DANGO (Germany) for removal of slag’s from Hot metal.
•Installation & commission Ladle tilter, Slide gate preparation for maintains of porous plug and fixing of slide gate on steel ladles.
•Installation & commissioning of Ferro alloy and flux handling system including Vibro feeder for LD shop.
•Installation & commissioning for Augmentation of GCP including of two nos.ID Fan for converter-1, 2.& 3 .
•Installation & commissioning of Secondary Emission Control System supplied by SMS DEMAG, it include laying of ducts from various fume emission point in LD shop, Installation of 3 nos.ID Fan for suction, 2nos ESP for controlling duct in the fume to reduce pollution.
•Installation & commission of scrubber and cooling stack with lower hood & moveable skirt for LD converter.
•Successfully completion of heat size increases under 6.3 MTPA expansion project by inducting 170T Hot Metal ladles &155T Steel ladles & removing Existing lower capacity ladles from the shop. All the existing auxiliary facility like ladle driver, stands, steel Cars, slag pot handling cars, slag pots also modified to suit the Higher capacity ladles
My responsibilities were;
•Organizing the Various trainees program with client & contracting agency for erection and commissioning the projects with zero incidence at site.
•Guide line for implement of OSHAS at site
•Attending and conducting the safety Review & Meeting with client consultant and contractors..
•Co-ordination with factory inspector for implications of safety at site.
•Site investigation and to analysis route cause of incident / accident.
•Hazard identification & Risks alysis ( HIRA ) of various activities like (working at height, Confined space, Gases area, Electrical area, hydraulic system water line, excavation etc
My responsibilities were
•I was looking after total construction Activities & Equipment’s erection of mechanical site.
•Organizing the safety & trainee programs at site like OHSAS, HIRA, Used of PPES & Development of safety awareness.
• Hazard identification & analysis of various construction activities
My responsibilities were;
•Shop floor supervision, fabrication, erection, testing & commissioning of different steel plant equipment’s for Bokaro & Rourkela Steel plant which was a project of LARSEN & TOUBRO LTD Kansbahal works.
•Fabrication & Erection of 70 meters Chimney for Bokaro Steel plant.
•Erection & installation of structural work like Hopper, Bucks Tray, Ducting, etc. for Rourkela Steel Plant.
•Fabrication of hot gas cyclone, water tank pressure vessel for JVSL .
