Reporting directly to the manager and providing direct support to the Surgeon and patients
for assigned primary and/or specialty care. Major duties include but are not limited to: acting
as a liaison for the patients and Surgeon in the practice.
* Build lasting relationships with patients by contacting them to follow up on visits to suggest
new or alternative treatments.
* Assisting patients in accessing service within the health system, facilitating communication
with referring physicians, referring patients to appropriate resources and providing follow-up
through telephone, and to provide patient’s request in terms of all documentations.
(Example: All the Medical reports, Sick Leave certificate, Insurance Claims)
* Greet the patient who is coming at the Centre for a Consultation, Surgery and Follow up.
* Preparing the file accordingly and updating old files.(Opening new files in the system and
for paper works)
* Coordinate or Endorse the patient to the Surgeon and the Nurse
* Responsible to collect the consultation fee if there is any, and prepare the receipt.
* Receiving new patient inquiries over the phone and transferring to the Patient Coordinator.
