Assessing current and future human resources needs and preparing Manpower Plan taking in to account the Company activities and annual budget.

Developing standard operating procedures (SOP) on issues such as Recruitment, training and safety and Hazard within policies laid down and within delegated authority and follow up the implementation in compliance with the SOP.

Ensure the recruitment process and procedures are consistently applied throughout Ethiopian -East Hub Filed offices and follow up if contracts management & smooth employee termination in compliance with Save the children HR policy & the Country labor law.

Ensure all active staff are updated in Human Resources Information system & follow up monthly time sheet submission & approval to ensure 100% accomplishment.

Advise managers in the different subsidiaries on the best recruitment and selection practices, establishing healthy working relationships with the department heads of different business units to manage the sourcing processes

Implement staff recruitment and selection policies and procedures; and propose changes for effective staffing processes.

Develop and recommend new forms, tests, systems and procedures to facilitate and improve recruitment process exploring the market’s best practices in this field;

Suggest training needs on recruitment best practices and interviewing techniques.

Ensure the performance of the field offices staff are managed with SCI performance management system.

Facilitating periodic performance appraisal of staff during the time set for the activity.

Assessing training needs in conjunction with department heads.

Planning, coordinating training session.

Manage and Prepare consultancy service agreement as instructed by HR Manager using Save the Children's consultancy service agreement template.

Implement staff benefit package as allowed in the HR manual ensuring that it is in line with country legal requirements.

Act as internal advisor on all projects/initiatives with a compensation & benefits impact involving interaction with staff at all levels from administration staff to senior business leaders

Liaise with third party benefit suppliers such as pension, medical & life insurance and other staff benefits as found necessary.

Recommend actions and procedures that improve organizational competitiveness for staff attraction, retention and motivation.

Contribute to staff well being programs including staff wellness, stress management, etc.

Liaise with Finance department to ensure accuracy of payroll management and benefit administration

Contribute to staff well-being programs including staff wellness, stress management, etc

Providing advice, guidance and information to supervisions and management on the interpretation and implementation of personnel policies, procedures, regulations of the company and the labor law;

Preparing and submitting periodic activities reports.
