• Within my role, I advise and support Managers and Supervisors to discharge their responsibilities for the SHEQ of employees as per legislation and company procedures.
• Support management teams to ensure compliance with all requirements Company procedures and specifications stipulated in the SHEQ Plans and mitigate to ensure conformity
• Carry out regular inspections of sites and work places to determine whether work is being carried out in accordance with company policy, procedures and the relevant statutory provisions. And provide corrective and preventive actions and reduces future reoccurrence
• Carry out accident and incident investigations in accordance with the company procedure and, analysing all data, make recommendations/make inference to avoid any future reoccurrences.
• Review and approval of technical specification on all major procurement in that all attributes of Quality requirement as per quality specification product or project
• Review and trend analyse all non-conformances, defects and inferences/recommendation to Senior Management for decision marking
• Conduct a risk review and analysis on potential plants/product risk as per risk company risk plans and evaluate risks current and future in observing any opportunities for mitigating and prevention (risk reduction )
• Advice procurement and engineering depart on quality requirement specifications and conduct evaluations for high-level projects, and make recommendations tender adjudication committee.
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors in providing training on all specified company requirements policies and procedure and verifying compliance
• Reviewing and evaluation of all renewable technical requirement specification and specify suitable quality requirements
• Conduct Inspections on Solar, panels during manufacturing/installation, and commissioning and evaluate conformity to requirements against technical and quality requirements ( corrective actions report and mitigate
• Providing Quality Control and Assurance to ATKSSP: Gas Turbine and Generator Project with 135 KVA Power line to Nuclear Power Plant requirements (National Nuclear Regulations)
• Review all Design technical and strategic input into project specification requirements in that all quality requirement are suitable and comply to specified requirements
• Monitor and evaluate Technical Specification and design on Gas turbine, Steam Power, and Hydro power plant including solar by reviewing all designs against regulatory and statutory or codes requirements to verifying conformity in appointment of suitable supplier/business partners
• Provide advisory input to Divisional Strategies for company improvement on Quality Control and Assurance
• Review and approve Inspections and Test Plans (ITP), Quality Control Plans (QCPs), Welding Procedure(WPS) Specifications, Welding Performance Qualifications (PQR) Quality Assurance plans and NDTs against applicable Codes ( ASME, EN, API, ASNT and NBIC
• Witness of lab test of Welder Performance Qualification Records for requalification
• Review and approve Quality Assurance Data-packages (QADP) or Data books. And mitigating lessons learnt for continually improvement
• Responsible for the implementation and improvement of the Quality System Management (ISO EN 3834 and ISO 9001:2015 and ASME as well as NBIC in five Power station (Nuclear, Hydro Solar and Fossil fuel Power plants
