• Product listings with national companies, like Food Lovers, Dis-Chem, OK Foods, Pick ‘n Pay and Hospital Groups.
• Update business plan and swot analysis according to company strategy and provide guidance.
• Overall commercial strategic planning for the company. Strategic, short-medium and long-term sales and marketing planning. Identify risks for the company and provide recommendations to manage risks.
• Develop new distribution / sales channels and identify and contract with sales agencies for relevant retailers, manage sales agencies, sales consultants and key retail accounts.
• Oversee product development and monitor trends that indicate the need for new products and services.
• Monitor sales against budget and improve on turnover and market share.
• Prepare and present power point presentations and handle social media advertising.
• Meetings with national buyers.
• Negotiate % rebates and supplier trading terms with national retailers and manage SLA’s. Sales forecasting, budgeting and update product pricing.
• Implementation of ISO 22000, 45000 and 9001 for manufacturing & supply of beverages, plastic bottles and preforms.
Achievements:
• The end of 2018, and within a 1-month period, increased the product footprint from 6 Dis-Chem stores to 80 Dis-Chem stores, within 10 months a 1000% sales growth.
• Identified new markets like Medi-Clinic Hospitals and commenced to supply Medi-Clinics with products.
• Rebranding the company and certain of the products to be competitive and marketable.
• Within 10 months, increased the company turnover with 65%

Reason for Leaving New Challenge
• Managed a property portfolio to the value of nearly 3 billion rand (26 retail shopping centers, 5
commercial buildings and 8 residential developments). Managed a team of internal property managers,
brokers, external HOA managers, professional teams, which included architects, quantity surveyors,
project managers and engineers.
• Optimize portfolio asset amalgamation in relation to risk and return appetite for the Group, present to the
board and implement: acquisition and disposal strategies; best practice property management policies,
procedures and systems. Development and implementation of short, long-term strategies for group and
marketing strategies for assets. Drafting of the HOA rules for Residential Estates and implementation of the
rules. Knowledge of the Companies Act and Memorandum of Incorporation. Being the representative
developer for the 8 residential developments and managed the appointed contractors in conjunction with
the appointed professional team. Manage residential developments bulk services installations with project
managers.
• Optimization and turn-around strategies for distressed properties; development, redevelopment and
refurbishment strategies for the Group. Manage due diligence exercises. Performance management of the
contracted property managers and service providers. Negotiate all property sale transactions within the
group. Manage operational administration, debtors, operational expenses and property budgets.
• Contract management and in-depth knowledge of lease agreements and apply common law principals
applicable for lease agreements. Approved and signed all lease agreements for the Group. Negotiate with
national retailers like Choppies, Spar, Pick & Pay, Shoprite Group and manage new store openings and
expansions. Prepare and implement immature, maturing and mature asset strategies. Negotiate and
conclude offer-to-purchase sale agreements with prospective buyers.
• Negotiate and conclude commercial bank loan funding for redevelopment purposes; approve final
development and redevelopment projects. Market research and develop new ways to strategically extract
and optimize asset value of the Group’s portfolio. Cash-flow management in conjunction with CEO and
financial director.
• Prepare final budget forecasts for property valuation purposes and liaise with valuators regarding final
valuations for annual financial statements. Render appropriate inputs regarding annual budgeting and
forecasting and manage income and expense budgets of all properties within the Group.
• Prepare and conclude a detailed asset management plan for the Group with a swot analysis for each
property. Monitor and manage the Group's risk matrix ensuring compliance with relevant legislation like
occupational health and safety.

within 5 years, Del-Judor Mall value increased from 100 million rand to 200 million rand within 5 years,
Silver Water Crossing Centre value increased from 75 million rand to 105 million rand within 5 years.
