Inclusion Teacher & Case Manager: (August 2019 - August 2021)
• 1:1 shadow teacher in a typical school setting in Abu Dhabi.
• Work with the student during school hours.
• Modify curriculum to include the student in the general education classroom.
• Thorough knowledge and competent implementation of the student programs and behaviour.
• Ensure student safety and implementing all safety procedures.
• Incorporate specific objectives into the context of ongoing activities and creating opportunities for generalization and maintenance of skills.
• Ensuring the fading of prompts and proximity of teacher to support student independence.
• Conduct home visits and training with case student and family, as needed.
• Monitor progress of the student's individual educational plan (IEP) and behavioral goals.

Case Management

- Maintaining student-specific notebooks, including data systems, program materials, and reinforcers.
- Recording (daily) and summarizing (weekly) all student data and maintaining data graphs in student notebooks.
- Writing quarterly progress reports and assisting with annual individualized education plans.
- Completing assessments as prescribed by clinical supervisors.
- Communicating with all team members, including supervisors, public school personnel, and family
members, regularly.
- Participating in monthly management by objective (MBO) meetings with the supervisor.
- Participating in the family clinic for case student and back up case student.

Autism Senior Teacher & Case Manager

• Supervisory/Training
- Act as Primary and Secondary Shift Manager for several shifts during the week.
- Notify Lead Therapist of any personnel issues and document as necessary.
- Deliver constructive and positive feedback to all staff members in the classroom.
- Attend supervision meetings with Lead Therapist as needed.
- Assist in conducting program orientation for new staff by demonstrating teaching skills and direct training on educational and behavior programs.
- Assist the Lead in preparing training packets, welcome packets, and case-manager training packets for new staff.

• Classroom Management
- Decorate classrooms and devise a system for classroom upkeep by all team members in collaboration with the Lead Therapist and other Therapists.
- Ensure that classroom appearance is acceptable for all VIP tours and special events.
- Ensure a system of maintenance of all skills acquired throughout the IEP year.
- Serve as a resource for teachers in NECC curriculum, assessments, IEP, ACE®, and related reports

• General
- Assist in the implementation of the Lead Therapist role in the absence of the Lead Therapist, including but not limited to leading team meetings, printing and adjusting the schedule, and communicating with the Specialist
- Conducting weekly or bi-weekly ACE audits as determined by the Lead Therapist
- Teach autistic students using Applied Behavior Analysis techniques.
- Develop, plan, and implement appropriate ABA curriculum and methods through the use of ACE (Autism Curriculum Encyclopedia).
- Manage two students’ cases throughout the year while working with all the class students during the day.
- Develop each case student’s individual goals and objectives through a yearly Individual Educational Plan.
