Responsibilities: Ÿ Currently reports directly to the EMPLOYER, leads a 14 members multidisciplinary site team, to guide construction activity from start of project to timely completion in line with set key performance indices .
Ÿ Carry out work including all finishing works as per drawings & specifications, tracks project progress as desired, & ensures meeting project timelines across entire project life cycles Ÿ Control expenditure as per approved project budgets Ÿ Oversee technical issues on project management with complete strategic plans to execute construction activities, control project progress, & resolve site issues related to construction . Ÿ Supervise all project activities to ensure project delivery as per planned project schedules Ÿ Organises periodic contractor meetings to track project progress Ÿ Inspect construction site to ensure proper compliance with safety norms & quality control measures & Specification . Ÿ Prepares risk assessment for all activity and liaises with relevant authority to smoothen workflows Ÿ Motivates staf, undertakes recommendation to evaluate team & individual performance, & suggests training & mentorship programmes for capacity building Ÿ Develops & maintains strong relationships with vendors for contract administration, negotiate pricing, & ensure quality Ÿ Conducts site meeting with site & subcontractor teams to optimise progress pace & minimise costs as per budget Ÿ Maintain correspondence with consultants & other stakeholders; with proper records & documentation for easy retrieval Achievements: Ÿ Played transformational leadership role to promote a quality culture, proposed improvements in quality management plans & steered eforts to ensure on time delivery Ÿ Scripted a success story to pioneer use of modern & creative concepts in the field of real estate development to design all concrete drawings, for footings, columns, Retaining Walls & slabs Ÿ Displayed excellence to deftly execute Doha Hills Project- 2, with 16 Blocks Contain 160 apartments & 8 villas in luxurious, autonomous, & residential compound spread over 90, 000 sq m-plot with 60, 000 sq m built-up area, located south of Beirut, with project value at US$ 54 Million Ÿ Successfully applied industry best practices to provide world-class & cost-efective methodologies for electrical keypad & internal controls
Managing construction projects through their full lifecycle
•Spearheading a team of 7 Engineers, plus accounts and marketing staff and numerous contract staff
•Liaising extensively with Surveyors and contractors
•Supplying all construction materials
•Approving technical drawings, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulations
•Developing project timelines, publishing on Primavera and making daily revisions
Projects
•Spearheading the $110million Doha Hills construction, comprising 16 buildings with a total built area of 63, 000m2
•Managing the $30million Eden Garden project, with responsibility for 2 out of 5 floors, each with an area of 1, 100m2, achieving a 7-star quality finish
•Acting as Head of the Real Estate Consultancy Department, managing 3.6million m2 of land plots and additionally leading the design and build of a $2.2million private villa
Key achievements
•Making project succeed where previous managers had failed, ensuring that buildings were realised as per drawings and permits
