•Responsible for the preparation of Instrumentation and Control detailed design drawings for the replacement of existing absolete 103 ARCOM RTU inside the existing RTU Cabinet to be replaced with new Emersons RTU.

•Developed the entire new RTU internal interconnection wiring diagram with power & communication wiring diagram based from Emersons vendor drawings information, Standardized the complete RTU wiring drawings and all symbols in Microstation V8i for Aramco standard design compliance.

•Conduct field verification in each platform to check the existing RTU internal wiring connection arrangement, to check the new instruments installed by other scope and to check the condition of existing homerun cables entry to RTU and available spare slot for the new cable installation.
Prepare site survey report and attached the sketch/mark up drawings.

•Generate new I/O list schedule in each platforms by sequence base on the new card slot installation. Incorporate other I/O signals which is already installed on site done by other contractors. Incorporate PDHMS and MPFM installation to be installed by other contractor for serial link port reservation.

•Demolished and Modified all affected drawings such as, Instrument Block Diagram, Instrument Points & Lines for the new Charge Regulator location, Analog/Digital Junction Boxes, Analog/Digital Marshalling Box for cable ferruling, Instrument Installation Schedule and Nameplate Schedule for new PDHMS and new instrument signals from new Charge Regulator to be installed. Modified all Instrument Loops diagram and generate additional Instrument Loop Diagrams.

•Supervised instrument design group and checked all the preliminary drawings before we issue the detailed design packages for discipline check and then squad check after incorporating all the comments from discipline check. I make sure that new drawing numbers, additional instrument loop numbers and TAG numbers are all requested from Document Control for Aramco Standard Compliance.

•Attend weekly Project and Progress Meeting with Saudi Aramco Project Management Team (SAMPT) and Saudi Aramco Proponent.

•Responsible for the preparation of complete Instrument detailed design package to be Issued for construction after incorporating all the comments from squad check packages.

•Prepared a hard copy of Issued for Construction of each packages and stamp with Master copy together with the discipline check and squad check packages in one binder for Instrument Group references and information.

•Checked inside the existing Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) for spare terminals for Analog/Digital signals, available spare I/O points, available spare slot for new Analog/Digital Input/Output Card. Checked the existing ESD Master Panel for the available spare Hydraulic Tubing connection. Available spare module or slave panel for the new wellhead hydraulic shutdown system installation. Checked the existing tubing tray available spare for new hydraulic tubing. study and sketched some possible routing and support for new hydraulic tubing to be installed.

•Involved in the Project Estimate, Study the Design Basis Scoping Paper (DBSP) and Identified all the necessary deliverables for the Project and send to Sr. Design Supervisor & Lead Principal Instrument Engineer for their input and evaluation.

•Prepared all Material Take-off List done in TOCES software by Aramco Standard Format and extracted on the detailed design drawings.

•Responsible for the preparation of complete Instrument detailed design package with Drawing Control Index of all deliverables and issue for discipline check, then squad check after incorporating all comments from discipline check.

•Assigned as Electrical/Instrument Design Supervisor seconded to Foster Wheeler Company. Responsible for the execution and development of Engineering detailed design packages involving various aspect of Instrumentation and Control System associated with electrical works.

•Investigate and calibrate existing instrument devices whether it is functioning well or not and make some report, answered all query of Foster Wheeler in writing, make some report in detail.

•Responsibility includes Installation Inspection of Cable trench and Duct banks, Cable trays support, conduit routing, Field instruments/Junction boxes/Marshalling cabinet and wiring termination job. Made comments and reject if necessary.
