Contribute positively in devising quality service for internal customers through executing risk assessment analysis of numerous types of lending proposals via analysis of financial information, including statements, management accounts, and cash flow statements.
•Harness astute analytical capabilities and perceptive operational requirements for developing models of credit information to predict patterns and trends by utilising specialist statistical software and risk scoring model to generate risk ratings (ORR/FRR) for credit requests.
•Play a vital and leading role in administering credit compliance to target markets, single obligor limit, risk acceptance criteria, and overall credit policy while remaining updated with the legal, compliance and market-risk-related issues related to approval credit.
•Devise and implement environment and social risk management framework on the ACP application. Lead project implementation team, execute Axe 4.3 credit portal system, swiftly resolve system design for credit risk, and credit workflow system designed for all credit risk management processes of Access Bank.
•UNIT HEAD, ENVIRONMENTAL & SOCIAL RISK MANAGEMENT (JANUARY 2013 - MARCH 2015)
Lead the development and execution of a broad-based, bank-wide strategic environmental & social risk management (“E&S”) initiative. Had responsibility for integrating E&S throughout Bank. I was actively involved in E&S development, implementation, internal organization and coordination, external cooperation and both internal and external communication. Ensured that E&S efforts enhance business performance and supports the long-term interests of the bank.
•Lead corporate effort in the formulation of an E&S vision and ensure that high level E&S strategy framework is in alignment with the bank’s broader Corporate Philosophy
•Secure and leverage management commitment and support for integrating E&S into core business processes and decision making
•Develop the business case to address E&S issues, risks and opportunities
•Identify and prioritize area for channelling corporate E&S efforts and recommend strategies for proactively addressing relevant E&S issues.

•Facilitate the development of Key Risk Scenarios with the Credit Risk Analyst including the determination of likelihood of occurrence and potential impact. Actively work to minimise the amount of economic capital that has to be set aside for these risks and align these with Basel 2 requirements.
•Assist the Credit function with the design and delivery of fit for purpose management information across the credit portfolio to ensure accurate and consistent reporting across the Bank
•Assess and maintain oversight of the credit risk quality portfolios by analysing the management information produced and sanctioning attestations.
•Ensure that the business and Credit partnership is working effectively and that deals are being structured and sanctioned in an effective manner by reviewing and monitoring files. If these are not structured effectively, develop action plans with Credit to resolve.
