• Organizing and planning loads for lifting at sites
• Calculating crane capacity, rigging, and weight of objects for mobile crane and excavator
• Ensuring safety of people in and around and coordinating with supervisor using walkie-talkie
• Maintaining daily log books, and other reports pertaining to the job
• Conducting minor maintenance work on equipment and tools and ensuring their good working condition
• Performing general duties as assigned by the project manager and supervisors
• Determining lifting capacities of crane and excavator and load weight and prevented overloading
• Adjusting levers, used foot pedals, and turned dials for operating cranes and excavator
• Moving heavy materials according to plan and schedule from Project Managers
• Ensuring workers at the site are aware and at a far distance when lifting and placing objects
• Preparing and submitting list of material moved on a daily basis
• Reviewing daily work load before the start of the shift and planned activities accordingly
