Responsible for the day to day management of all aspects and profitability of a national business with a turnover in excess of R200 million. The business has its head office in Cape Town and 5 branches nationally utilizing a fleet of 51 vehicles and has a staff compliment of 260 employees.

Promoted to National Operations Manager in 2012 and relocated from Pretoria to the head office in Cape Town. Manage all company’s day to day operational aspects nationally operating from 20 000m²of warehouse / retail space and stocks around 22 000 line items, servicing a wide range of industries with fasteners, hardware and related products.

Acquired a portion of the company and was responsible for the day to day running of the branch and its 43 staff members as the owner was based in Australia. In December 2010 my services were retained by Boltfast (Pty) Ltd when they acquired the company. One of the conditions of sale was that I remained responsible for the day to day running of the branch while maintaining its profitability.

Enlisted as permanent force recruit and completed basic training. Attended Technical College and obtained a N5 diploma before being promoted to sergeant and being selected as a technical lecturer for the Air force
