Business Development Manager at HARPER Enerchem Limited (Production and Drilling Chemicals)
  • My current job since July 2015

Functions;
Use of FOAMERS to;
* Revive and/or increase production in water -logged oil/gas wells
* Reduce environmental and financial problems associated with drilling new wells to replace low-producing or plugged and
abandoned wells.
* Reduce energy and cost of well treatment relative to other treatment methods.
* Prevent loss of hydrocarbons in plugged and abandoned wells.
* Introduce cost-effective treatment for marginally producing wells.
 Formulation/Bottle Test/Field Test/optimization of ideal production chemicals for specific problems and
installations.
 Monitoring performance of treatment of selected chemical(s).
 Adaptation of treatments to changing operation conditions
 Routine clients’ technical/commercial visits.
 Involved in technical/commercial tenders preparation.
 Use of AUTOMATIC CHEMICAL STICK LAUNCHER to increase production of hydrocarbon wells through automatic
application of FOAM STICKS and PARAFFIN INHIBITOR STICKS into the well
Flow Assurance Issues/paraffin inhibitor sticks for downhole and top side treatment using AUTOMATIC STICK LAUNCHER/Lubricator;
* As the reservoir pressure drops, oil production decreases; thus, the flow rate decreases, resulting in larger temperature gradient in
the well conduit. This results in lower temperatures within the well, which leads to more hydrocarbon accumulation.
* The decrease in production leads to slower flow rate of oil, which provides more opportunity for accumulation of deposit and less
scrapping effect of the slow moving oil. Unless the deposits are removed, the operator is often faced with a decrease in
production, increase in pump problems, waxing off of the tubing and other production lines, and a possible loss of production.
