Responsibilities
Managing the estates operations function that involved overseeing the operations of estates that includes compound mentainance, housekeeping, building blocks mentainance, generator mentainance, incinerator mentainance and freezers mentainance, overseeing the estates budget of over 1 billion Ugandan shillings and heading a team of two resident members and 25 outsourced member’s team.


Accomplishments
•Created a safe, secure and clean work environment for organization customers.
•Ensured a well functioning and well maintained freezer unit with reduced breakdowns.
•Achieved a greater and much saving on the budgets of mentainance.
•Reduced greatly disruptions by ensuring continuous supply of power as a result well maintained generators
•The integrity of samples was highly preserved as a result of the well maintained freezer unit and hence the organization earned positioning in regard to its attractiveness.
•The incinerator made more sales turnover as a result of the well functionality and well maintained incinerator.
•The organization witnessed a greater saving on the building block mentainance budget, and greater images of the block outlook were highly evident.
• As a team we were able to anticipate future developments with the building blocks, painting works and other features in advance, ensuring that adequate planning and budgetary provision is made for maintenance and repair works and that continuity of service is optimized.
•Ensured risk reduction through regular equipment checks including generators, Freezers, Air conditioners, fire and intruder alarms, emergency lighting and fire extinguishers are completed
•Reduced costs and damages by ensuring that employees and contractors are constantly supervised.
•Ensured team work and cooperation among team members.

Executing the store functional duties such as Receiving of raw materials, components, tools, equipment’s and other items and accounting for them, providing adequate, secure and proper storage and preservation to the various items, Receiving of inventory into the computerized accounting system, meeting of the demands of the consuming departments by proper issuing and accounting for the consumption. Planning and forecasting for new orders.

•Improved performance in store management by professionally ensuring adhering to store management practices.
•Provided adequate, secure and proper storage and preservation to stock.
•Minimized obsolescence, surplus and scrap levels through proper codification, reservation and handling.
