I am also an admin assistant responsible for gathering all relevant information that occur in our daily operation, submit reports, send e-mails, and coordinate everything to our magement.
I started as a Front Office Associate and was eventually promoted as a Front Office Supervisor. I am responsible for training newly hired front office associates, assess their performance, supervise the front office daily operations, communicating all necessary information with all other departments, creating our daily shedule, managing inventories, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the front desk, handling guest complaints, answering calls and e-mails, doing room audits to assess the performance of our housekeeping, doing night audits, submitting daily revenue reports, conducting daily briefing, and communicating all updates and shift reports with the management.
We filter reviews submitted for hotels, restaurants and tourist attractions all over the world and check the legitimacy of the social media accounts of the people who submitted these reviews. We ensure that these reviews also follow our guidelines before it gets published in TripAdvisor website to help readers make the right decision in planning their travels. I also became a part of a team that handles curation of hotel websites wherein we gather information about a specific room category, select a photo that best represents the room and create a brief description about the hotel room highlighting three of its special features to help travellers find the best accommodation that will suit their needs.
