Role:
•AV and broadcast equipment installation configurations related Project Execution.
To ensure overall software functionalities of all critical Broadcast devices such as Routers, MCS, Format converters of snell and Harris, talkback systems, Multi viewers, logo insert systems. Video switchers and sound consoles
•Troubleshoot day to day technical problems encountered while operations and making changes in the AV circuits as per operational needs of MCR, PCR, Feed-ingest-VTR rooms, Studios and edit suits. Keeping back up of critical configuration files and Softwares.
•To design transmission chains - equipment configurations - planning of equipment placements and cable schedules. Updating drawing and other technical details.
•As a
Doha Asian games and LSTV teleport)
Role:
•HD & SD video platform transmission from Sports venues to International Broadcasting Centre(IBC) for Doha Asian Games(5 months project)
•Andrews 7.3M Earth station C-Band Antenna and uplink system Installation for LSTV.
Achievements:
•Have connected & configured the MD6000 unit, used for IP based HD and SD video transmission from Hamad aquatic & other sports locations to IBC.
•Ensuring and checking signal quality and continuity throughout events.
•Electrical interface of Antenna and local control unit
•Antenna Tracking and calibration through remote control and network application using Site master and Hp Spectrum analyzers(ACU 3000)
•Waveguide assembly and HPA(CPI) mounting and installation,
•Installation of Modulators and demodulator system of RADAYAN and GVG Thomson
•Uplink test with NOCC department ISRO.& structure design
Prior to that worked for ETV Gujarati as an technical Asst. Gr.2. and looked after feed transfer AV recording and online video switching for multi cam studio programs and outdoor events
