Vendor Inspector / Expeditor in Moody International Saudi Arabia Ltd, Saudi Arabia.
• Perform inspections as well as expediting as a third party inspector for all industrial materials.
• Conducting “Pre Inspection Meeting” on behalf of clients at Vendor facilities.
• Performing various inspection activities of Pipes, pumps, structural steels(NDT), pipe fittings as per approved drawing on site and at vendor facilities during manufacture, fabrication, installation and operational testing as per required specification and standards.
• Review the QC documents, Inspection test plan / quality plan, Engineering & fabrication drawing Welding procedure specification, Procedure qualification record and carries out qualification tests for welders and welding operators, Non-destructive testing procedures and attending at each stages of witness inspection.
• Inspection of Pipes (seamless & Spiral wound) at respective mill shops. Witnessing & monitoring of each stages of pipe production as per client requirement. Activity such as, Review of MTC, Coil inspection, edge milling, pipe forming, welding, visual inspection, Hydro static test, NDT and Final inspection in accordance with project specification. Witness of HIC and SSC tests for sour service pipe at the testing lab. Witnessing of Mechanical testing such as Tensile, Yield, Bend, CVN, Hardness, Flattering, DWTT and Macroscopic etc. as per codes and specification requirement.
• Inspection of Fiber glass reinforced pipes & fittings (FRP/GRP) and Polyethylene (PE) pipe & fittings includes Raw material inspection, In-process inspection, destructive tests (Axial & hoop tensile, stiffness) & nondestructive tests such as barcoal hardness and hydro test. Verifying the spool dimensions as per approved drawing. Lamination length and hardness verification during final inspection.
• Perform Coating (Painting & Galvanizing) Inspection with respect to the approved client specification and standards. Perform the inspection of FBE coated pipes, Spools internal and external as per project specification and standard. Witnessing and verifying Duplex coating on steel structures and CWC, FBE & 3LPE coating of steel pipes and fittings.as per project specification. Perform the inspection of concrete & cement lining coating of pipes and fittings as per AWWA standard. Review of Painting raw material batch certificates and verifying Painting procedures and specification. Verifying surface preparation, climatic control (surface temperature, Air temperature, Dew point and relative humidity during inspection), FBE application, rubber lining, DFT check, holiday detection, adhesion test, cathodic disbondment check, DSC check, hardness test, spark test, peel resistance test, impact test, indentation test and other lab test inspections for different type of coating and lining. Witnessing of 3LPE & FBE coating on pipes includes raw material inspection, witness of lab testing, pipe inspection prior to coating, weather condition, Surface preparation, powder application and final inspection etc. Carrying out inspection of FBE coated Re bars at vendor facility. Verifying the coating thickness, Bend test and adhesion test as per the ITP and reference specification.
Inspection of Hot induction bend at vendor facility, Material receiving inspection, Bending, Preliminary inspection, Heat treatment, NDE, Hardness and
Manage and Inspect different Projects assigned by company. It includes the following :
• Annual and Re-inspection of CNG(Compressed Natural Gas) stations for Safety Purpose.
• Pre-Commissioning, Periodic and Re-inspection of LPG Plants as Per NFPA 58 Standard & Codes.
• LPG Bowzers & Bullets Inspections during manufacturing, LPG Cylinders (Commercial & Domestic) Inspections during manufacturing .Oil Depo and their stock Inspections etc
• Hot water Boiler Inspections during its fabrication.
