Responsibilities
1) Have done timely procurements and follow up with venders on the deliveries
2) Updated local procurement tracker and followed up with the country procurement team for updates and delivery status.
3) Identify and register new suppliers in local supplier data base.
4) Prepared and shared monthly payment forecast of suppliers also updated and share monthly logistics reports during the absence of log manager.
5) Fulfill the responsibilities log manger during the absence time.

Achievements
1). New venders were introduced in the system. This was reached at through conduction market surveys and also coordinating with the other agencies.
2). Local procurement tracker always up to date. this is reached to through daily update incase of any delivery and new information to be included.
3). Established good relationship with the venders and this encouraged their active participation in every tender.
4). Procuring all the requests for the programs within time specified. this was done through constant follow ups with the suppliers.
5). Was able to support the program staffs on the basic procurement training for example, the thresholds, methods used which enabled staffs to understand how to raise PRs with good specifications and knew how long procurement may take basing on the threshold.
6). Gained a lot of experience on negotiation with suppliers, identification and problem solving skills
