Achievements
Employee Engagement Approaches:
I encouraged my management team to place a greater emphasis on employee engagement (EE). From my academic study I learned that EE is the new competitive advantage for organisations and to be successful in making distinction itself organisation must engage its employees. I convinced my management team by updating them with all the potential benefits of EE. Then the whole management team started working to make EE approaches effective and efficient. And today, it became a high priority task to engage employees efficiently.
Outcome: Highly engaged team has been bringing range of valuable outcomes, such as high level of performance, high productivity and especially reduction in team turnover is remarkable.
Achievements
The motivation strategy and policies:
I have introduced a creative way of motivation at store level such as rewards. Verbal motivations, compulsorily thanking everyone. I have taken extra care to maintain a happy and safe working environment. Also, requested superior to do unannounced visit to find out a good level of motivation on the floor which can make other managers to take the issue very seriously.
Outcome: Other elements of the business were unchanged and the whole sales increased by 15% when the staff became more motivated, effective and efficient.
