In terms of my career, I held responsibility for overseeing production parameters and various operations within poultryfarms. This encompassed the management of farms, including a production site with a flock of 300, 000 using both the'Valli Cage System' and the 'Facco Cage System.' Additionally, I managed a pullet rearing farm with a capacity for100, 000 flock. I consistently delivered optimal performance, executing my responsibilities effectively and successfullymaintaining the portfolio of these farms by leading the top-performing team in the company. The overall mortality ratioacross all flocks remained below 2% throughout the entire rearing and production cycle. I also conducted the moultingof the flock at 90 weeks of age, and these hens maintained a production rate of up to 80% for the subsequent fourmonths. Here are some key areas of expertise gained from my experience:
Over two consecutive years, I managed the rearing of a flock of 100, 000 LSL Lite chickens for 17 weeks, beginningat 17 weeks of age. Throughout this duration, my responsibilities included overseeing the reception of chicks at therearing site, managing the brooding process - ensuring optimal temperature, ventilation, and environmentalconditions - as well as implementing disease control measures and vaccination protocols.Implemented qualitycontrol measures to ensure that the software being developed and deployed met industry standards and customerexpectations.
At the production site, I diligently maintained biosecurity protocols 300, 000 flock kept in “Valli cage system” and“Facco Cage System” and oversaw daily farm operations. This encompassed the meticulous management oftemperature, humidity, and ventilation to ensure optimal conditions. I was actively involved in the systematiccollection of eggs, as well as the daily recording of mortality data from cages. Subsequently, I conductedpostmortem examinations, and in the event of findings suggestive of potentially lethal infections, I facilitated thesending of bird samples to the laboratory for pre or post-diagnosis.
I held responsibility for overseeing 15 broiler houses, each with a capacity ranging from 25, 000 to 35, 000 birds, situated within a 100km radius. My duties included the reception of birds on the first day from the hatcherydelivery van, followed by the meticulous management of brooding conditions, including temperature, humidity, andventilation. Subsequently, I supervised the rearing of the chicks up to 46 days of age. During this period, myresponsibilities extended to ensuring bird health through vaccinations, medication administration, and conductingpostmortem examinations of deceased birds. After reaching an average weight of 1.8kg, the birds were transferredfor sale in the market. Following this, I allowed a 20-day rest period for the bird houses before preparing them forthe next flock. This was achieved through effective leadership and coordination with the dedicated team assignedto each house.
In addition, the company operates a dairy farm with 150 lactating cattle. During weekends, I routinely visit the dairyfarm to conduct health checks on the animals. I meticulously review feeding and milk production data from theprevious week, subsequently reassigning duties for the upcoming week to enhance milk production, improve feedconversion ratios, and maximize productivity. Furthermore, I actively participate in synchronizing and inseminatinganimals in groups to facilitate year-round fresh milk production through strategic breeding and inseminationpractices.
The company manages a substantial poultry operation, housing a total of 500, 000 layer birds. This includes 100, 000Hyline W-80 Plus, 200, 000 Crystal Nick (H&N International), and 200, 000 Bovans White. Leading an exceptionalteam, I supervised the rearing of these birds up to 17 weeks of age, actively participating in vaccination, postmortemexaminations, medication for diseased birds, and ensuring the maintenance of optimal temperature, ventilation, andhumidity levels.
The production sites incorporate two GURES TECHNOLOGY cage systems, each with a capacity of 110, 000 birds, two FACCO cage systems, each accommodating 100, 000 birds, and one TECNO cage system with a capacity of100, 000 birds. These cage systems are installed across three distinct poultry farms.
Throughout the production period, my team and I achieved a remarkable 98% production rate by the age of 28weeks. Subsequently, we sustained a 96% production rate up to 16 weeks of age. At 90 weeks of age, the birdsconsistently produced eggs at a rate of 76%.
In addition to the poultry operations, the company owns a farm housing 50 dairy lactating cattle, wildlife animals, and show birds. I oversaw the health aspects of all these animals, managing the production and synchronization ofbreeding programs for lactating cattle through successful insemination. I also administered medication andvaccinations to these farm animals and conducted surgeries when necessary.
