Preparing packing list as per customer requirement & standards.
Sorting goods as per Quantity, Quality and Customer Name.
Preparing for dispatch of goods as per Shipping Release Note and Backlog Qty.
Preparing Labels and Tags with respect to PO Number, Country of Origin, Destination, Dimensions, Gross Weight, Net Weight, Volume, Stack ability; etc.
Preparing Delivery notes with respect to Customer Name, PO No., PO Date, Sales Order No., Line Item, Tag No., Material Number, Description, Open-Order Quantity, Shipping Quantity, SRN Nos, etc.
Co-ordination with Project Engineer, Transporter and Sales Support team for special instructions regarding shipment.
Determining type of transport required based on goods ready for dispatch.
Preparing necessary documentation such as quality documents, export/customs clearance documents.
Intimating Transporter with information pertaining to border clearing agents, type of material, etc.
Informing customer well-in-advance regarding material-in-transit and making sure that the material is offloaded at the right time and right manner.
Maintaining appropriate data related to Shipping History, Truck Consumption, POD’s, Status of SRN’s in excel sheets.
Follow-up with the transporter for Proof-of-Deliveries (PODS) and filing them for future reference.
Performing necessary SAP transactions like Goods Issuance and Goods Receipt.
Plays a signification role in revenue realization by determining whether the company has achieved the anticipated target in terms of shipping.
