• Project for Architecture Company to develop their Integrated Management System.
• Responsible for developing HSE procedures, specifically Risk, Safety and Environmental Management Systems according to ISO, OSHAD and RIBA requirements.
• Enhance working environment by ensuring a safe environment for the wellbeing of both patients and staff.
• Take part in daily Safety Huddle to discuss safety issues and amend workflows for improvement in collaboration with Chief Medical Officer, General Manager, Quality, Infection Control, Director of Nursing and Nursing Managers from 8 different departments.
• Develop role and responsibilities of Occupational Health and Safety Officer with clear KPIs to fulfill local and international accreditation standards.
• Oversee all pre-employment screening, health surveillance and immunization programs for 300+ employees in collaboration with the Human Resources Department.
• Generate Occupational Health and Safety Wellness Program and policies in coordination with Quality and Human Resources Department.
• Design and supervise the implementation of wellbeing training programs and execution agenda in order to maintain and ameliorate employees’ physical and mental fitness.
• Evaluate impact of Wellness program by observing metrics such as sick leave and participation.
• Audit and evaluate employees’ activities to comply with Hospital policies, quality and accreditation standards; compliance rate of 92% to 95%.
• Conceptualize a collaborative knowledge sharing culture to tackle knowledge and practical gaps, and implement training programs as needed to address targeted gaps.
• Organize employee development plan with managers and Director of Nursing to improve skills and develop capabilities according to roles and departments.
• Coordinate and balance workforce around the hospital; discuss and plan need for recruitment with Director of Nursing, General Manager and Human Resources Department.
• Coach managers/team leaders on employee misconduct management and conflict management.
• Investigate incidents and ensure consistent root-cause analysis and resolution.
• Improve quality in Operating Theater Department by working on KPIs and creating effective approach to tackle any identified gap and pre-emptively prevent conflict.
• Identify employees’ strength and weaknesses and develop performance improvement plans.
• Conduct onboarding training and support for new joiners.
