Bio inspired materials are synthetic materials whose structure, properties or function mimic those of natural materials or living matter. We have followed a simple technique to develop the Nano scale mechanism. Oxide layers of thicknesses 5 to 12 micrometer are obtained and are compacted with an epoxy (vinyl ester) polymer using a simple die compaction technique. Our method could be a viable alternative to large scale and low cost material synthesis for such advanced composites.
