CHARTER PARTY DESK OFFICER    Charter party refers to a legal contract which contains detailed information  about the shipment agreement between vessel Owner and cargo Owner.    When brokers in Clarksons Shipping Company in matching the right space  for the right cargo and in reaching an agreement (recap) between Shipper  (cargo Owner) and carrier (vessel Owner),  our role starts as follow:    Revising the recap (operational wise) and adapting it to the agreed Charter  Party form    Charter Party shall include all information regarding shipment,  vessel,   arbitration,  freight payment,  demurrage / dispatch / detention,  full contact  of Shipper / Carrier / Consignee,  which law to follow in case of  Arbitration, … etc.    After revising and submitting the Charter Party it shall be send to  consumers for confirmation.    A strict follow up system shall be applied till the vessel safety delivers  intended cargo.    This position is considered critical as the Charter Party shall be the  reference to any error or vague information,  therefore it shall be strictly  revised.    This kind of contract is common all over the world and there`s another kind  which called CHINSAY is also common but rarely to use.
