 Practical work done during the engineering cycle at the National Engineering School of Sfax (2013-2016):
Microbiology: Management of microbiology laboratory, Discovery of the bacterial world, Microscopic examination: Morphology and Gram staining, Preparation of culture medium, Isolation and enumeration of bacteria, Methods of conventional quantification of bacterial growth, Evaluation of the bactericidal effect.
Genetic engineering: Extraction of E. coli genomic DNA, Electrophoresis, Amplification by chain polymerization reaction (PCR), Analysis of PCR products, Enzymatic digestion of DNA coding for 16S ribosomal RNA.
Molecular Genetics: Ligation of a DNA fragment into a plasmid and transformation into E.Coli.
Fermentation technology: Continuous culture of Saccharomyces cerevisiae: determination of biomass, glucose, ethanol and the production yield of ethanol relative to glucose.
Virology: Titration of M13 phage, study of bacterial growth and study of phage multiplication.
Regulation of gene expression: Study of Sal stress-inducible gene expression in plants: Case of proline, Study of the regulation of the expression of xylanase enzymes and cellulases in filamentous fungi.
Plant Biotechnology: Isolation, Fusion and Cultivation of Potato Protoblasts, Transplantation of Nodes from Vitroplantes and Neoformed Buds, Potato Transplantation by Agrobactrium Tumefaciens, Measurement of Osmotic Pressure, Suction and perspiration, study of the anatomy of several plant tissues.
Method of analysis: Determination of several parameters in the blood: Glucose (GOD-PAP), uric acid (Uracase_PAP), Urea (modified Berthelot), Triglycerides (GPO-PAO), Cholesterol (CHOD-PAP)...
Enzymatic technology: Extraction and characterization of fish digestive protease, enzymatic gelatin extraction from fish skin, enzyme immobilization by co-crosslinking, Cell immobilization by inclusion, Extraction of soluble yeast fraction from bakery: Proteins dosage, measure of the invertase activity.
Biochemistry: Precipitation of proteins with ammonium sulphate: Case of invertase.
Immunology: Rabbit Serum ELISA test, Immunoblot Technique.
Industrial microbiology: Continuous culture of E.Coli, Identification of bacteria and yeasts from several environnments.
Food biochemistry: Determination of: lactose, chloride, FM, vitamin C, alcohol test.
Food Technology: Characterization of Livestock Feed: DM, Ash, FM; Characterization of cereals: flour case; Determination of proteins (gluten) Characterization of fatty substances: iodine index, SI and PI.
This practical work is completed by internships, field trips, participation in the seminar, open days as a group member. In addition, I made several visits to the various ecosystems of my hometown to discover the ecology of environments and see the living beings that coexist there. Finally, the rural life that I lived allowed me to conclude that biology is no longer a simple specialty to study; it is rather a way of life to follow.

لا شك أن الكم الهائل من الأشغال التطبيقية في المخابر التربوية و خاصة الجامعية و كذلك التخصص في الهندسة البولوجية هي خير سند لاتقان العمل المؤهل له و اضافة الى ذلك فقد قمت بعدة زيارات ميدانية شملت مخابر بحثية و شركات صناعية و ايضا عدة ندوات جامعية ثهدف الى تحسين جودة التعليم بشكل عام. خلال الفترة الدراسية تمكنت من القيام بعدة تربصات مهنية نذكر منها الدورة التكوينية بالبنك الوطني للجينات حيث قمت بتحليل الحمض النووي للقمح و عدة نباتات أخرى و يهدف هذا البحث الى الحفاظ على الموروث الجيني للثروة النباتية التونسية مما يسوجب العديد من التجارب المخبرية. الدورة التكوينية بالشركة الوطنية للسليلوز و المختصة في صناعة الورق من خلال نبات الحلفاء فقد تمكنت من اجراء تحاليل كيميائية لعجين هذه النبتة و كذلك دراسة فعالية المستخلص السائل في التداوي بالطب الشعبي. الدورة التكوينية بالمدرسة الوطنية للمهندسين بصفاقص و هي عبارة عن مشروع لختم الدراسة ففي مرحلة اولى فمت بمعرفة الخصائص الفيزيوكيميائية لمسحوق ساق نبتة التين الشوكي ثم درست الانشطة المضادة للأكسدة و المضادة للبكتيريا و كتطبيق لهذا المسحوق تمكنت من تقييم قدرة ته على امتصاص الملونات المستعمتة في صناعة النسيج و يهدف هذا البحث للحد من تلوث المائدة المائية وكذلك المحيط الايكولوجي
