Scope of Work: Fix Furniture, Lose furniture, fit out
• Estimate quantities, surface areas, volumes, etc. and perform all quantity take-offs for our assigned scope of work
• Compile the tender BOQ with description based on the quantity take-offs. • Analysis of rates for labor, material and plant (fixed and variable) and thus assist build up costing, pricing and analysis of direct and indirect cost for the BOQ items.
• Analyze drawings received at bid stage and clarify exclusions/qualifications within. •
Identify scopes to be sent to subcontractors and suppliers; check delivered quantities and discuss any variations; maintain vendor database •
Compilation of tender/bid offer submissions.
• Based on awarded tenders, prepare and check quantification and fabrication drawings to be given to production team for fabrication (bill of quantities and bill of materials) •
Compile the tender BOQ with description based on the quantity take-offs
• Scrutinize and review tender drawings/documents for discrepancies, additional BoQ items/scope and incorporating within the tender offer; Liaise with consultant regarding ambiguities contract work scope and seek clarifications there to

1) Monitor and implement for proper control the correct usage of cost codes of the projects and other departmental cost end-users based on the approved budget allocations.
2) Verify for proper control the correct quantities, unit rates and values billed/invoiced by suppliers, subcontractors or any service providers.
3) Develop and prepare comparative cost analysis between the actual cost incurred and the approved budget. And provide necessary mentor to concerned managers or cost end-users for the approach of minimizing the costs.
4) Develop and prepare budgetary analysis for associated cost breakdown structures of BOQ work items in the request of resources required in the projects.
5)Measure and monitor the productivity accomplishment and unit cost of the projects for cost control and estimation future references.
6)Monitor the details of actual cost of manpower, equipment, materials, subcontractors and other cost in comparison to the earned value of the projects.
7)Review the preparation of clients billing in comparison to the cost incurred of manpower, equipment, materials, subcontractor and others by the projects.
8)Control and monitor the additional costs which are not established/ recognized during budget approval of the projects/works.
9)Prepare all project cost related reports in weekly, monthly and quarterly. And comply any adhoc request and work assistance demanded by Cost Control Manager in order to achieve the overall goal of the cost control department
