I am currently building websites for small businesses.
As a team member, I am given everyday tasks on Jira platform to build, maintain, develop,
and test a customizable virtualconference environment. Collaboration at its core, with
livestreaming, user chat, gamification concept and support formultiple modes of user
interaction. Back end (Nestjs- API) uses postgres as a database and front end (Reactjs-
hooks) uses material-ui for UI, are both written in typescript. The updated code id pushed to
GitHub and reviewed by other team members before merging. Also conversations and
interactions with my team took place on slack and zoom. The web site is built on many
libraries. For example, pusher js (web socket), material-ui, material-table, react-big-calendar
( for organizing events and agendas, etc.) react-hook-form (submitting forms), auth0-spa
(authentication), Axios (http requests), Redux (front end store), thunk (dispatching actions),
react-player (for playing videos), react-router-dom (paths / routes), react-timeago (for
date/time format), sendbird (for chatting), jest-js ( end to end testing), React-story-book for
mimicking components. i have also ctreated an npm library for Twilio video/chat; group/ one
to one, and the list goes on.
As a team member, I was given the task to build the front ends web application (react-js
typescript) and mobile applications (react-native) called “Muallemy”. Muallemy is an
educational project for school / high school to teach their students using online courses,
videos, and live streaming.
My responsibility was to lead a team which I was training to build and maintain web
application. The applications included chatbots and the company website. Most employees
had no work experience or knowledge of the frameworks or libraries used in the company
(Reactjs, Nodejs, Laravel, Dialogflow, websockets, http requests, MVC, components, google
maps, online payment). As a consequence, besides training and teaching these employees
(4 trainees), I worked full stack developer on the projects at hand.
